This beautifully remodeled Alphorn condo is conveniently located between Vail and Lionshead Village and is less than a 10 minute walk to the Eagle Bahn Gondola, Vail Resorts Snowsports School and Lionshead Ticket Office. Upscale fine dining, bars, night life, family friendly restaurants, and Vail's finest shops and boutiques are all available in Lionshead Village. One outdoor parking space is available with this unit, but there is no need for a car when you can take advantage of the free in-town bus to visit either Vail, Lionshead or Golden Peak.

You’ll be delighted with the modern mountain decor throughout the home and enjoy the layout, finding the living, dining and kitchen as one open space. The living room features a flat screen TV and wood burning fireplace while the dining table seats 6 guests with amazing mountain views. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a breakfast bar with seating for 4, so dining in is a pleasure in this vacation home.

When the day is done, retreat to the master bedroom which is furnished with a king bed or bedroom 2 with two twin beds. Both bedrooms feature a flat screen TV and have access to separate bathrooms just steps from their doors.

This lovely condo sleeps 4 in 3 beds comfortably. Please note that this unit is on the second level with stair access only.

  • Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25). We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age! Any violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
  • Check-in time is 4pm, however, it may be as late as 5 or 6pm in peak winter and summer season. 
  • Check-out time is 10am.
  • Smoking is not permitted in any of our rental properties. Violation of this policy will result in additional cleaning charges at the discretion of iTrip Vail - Beaver Creek. Your damage deposit (if applicable) will be forfeited and an additional $1,000.00 fee may be charged for Ozonation if smoking in the unit is detected.
  • Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in; normal wear and tear is expected.
  • The maximum number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises are grounds for eviction.
  • No open flames are permitted on balconies or in the unit with the exception of fire contained within a wood burning fireplace. Do not dismantle smoke detectors. Use the overhead stove fan when cooking to avoid accidental activation of smoke detector alarm.
  • There is no daily housekeeping service.  Additional cleaning services can be arranged for a fee. Please contact us in advance for pricing.
  • Owner or owner's agents may enter the premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary or agreed upon repairs, alterations, or improvements; supply necessary or agreed upon services or show the premises to prospective purchasers, renters or contractors. Owner will provide renter with at least 24 hours notice of Owners intent to enter (except in the case of an emergency).
  • Please report any maintenance needs for the premises to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating and air conditioning, appliances, televisions, and stereos.
  • iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.

Perfect central Vail Village location

Is it wrong to be reluctant to leave a review because I want to keep it my secret condo? This condo is perfect for a family or 2 couples. Ideal location on the in-town bus route halfway between Vail Village and Lionshead gondolas. The bus stops next door in front of the hospital - couldn't be more convenient! The kitchen is very well equipped, as if it was a full-time residence. Everything was very clean. Parking is a heated space immediately in front of the condo stairs, although with local transportation, a car is not necessary. What a perfect week!

Location, location, location

The Alphorn condos are next to the Four Seasons Resort and probably has a better view. Alphorn is halfway between the center of Vail Village and Lionshead. Alphorn is less than a city block from a bus stop for the free Town of Vail bus. Unit 204 has a gas grille on the balcony as well as a couple comfortable chairs to use while enjoying the view. All that makes for very comfortable living!

We recently stayed at Alphorn 204 for the second time in the last two years. We absolutely love this condo and location! The condo is spacious, love the two bathrooms and ample plateware and cookware. The location can’t be beat nestled between Vail Village and Lionshead Village, and adjacent to the Vail Hospital. The bus stop is a very short walk from the condo and runs frequently to Lionshead Village; Vail Village is a half a block walk. We love all the conveniences of our stay - it’s such a cozy spot and we look forward to returning after a full day of skiing! We’ll be back Alphorn 204! Wonderful 2B-2B condo close to Vail Village

This condo is newly renovated, next door to the Four Seasons and a block from Vail Village. With two teenagers the full kitchen was great for breakfast and dinner, plenty of room to hang out and relax after skiing in the living room area and a nice dining table was perfect for the few friends that came over to watch the Super Bowl. Did I mention one parking spot is included? Definitely want to stay again next year assuming we can grab it in time.

Alphorn is a wonderful stay and perfectly situated in Vail Village. The ski lifts and an abundance of restaurants are within 5 minutes walking. The in town shuttle stops right outside and is a free service. This condo is spacious and well designed to accommodate small family’s. Highly recommend for winter or summer vacations.

I questioned myself at first for renting a VRBO during our first vacation to Vail, CO. I thought an inclusive report would better suit us. Boy, was I wrong. They location alone was amazing. A 10 minute walk to Lionshead and about a 10 min walk in the other direction to downtown Vail Village. You are right in the middle of everything. Not to mention, if you don’t feel like walking, there’s a bus stop right by. We rented a car and we did not use it our entire stay other than driving to airport. The best part for my family was the living room and kitchen. After a long day outdoors, it was nice for all us to snuggle in, cook dinner and watch movies together. It allowed us to have our privacy and get well rested for more adventuring. It truly felt like being at home. Thank you and we would love to visit this location again.

Just got back from Vail and a wonderful stay at 204 Alphorn. I’ve been to Vail quite a bit over the years and this condo is the PERFECT LOCATION! Its midway between both Vail Village and Lionshead. Both gondolas are in easy walking distance. The unit is tastefully updated, quiet, and has all of the amenities you need to enjoy your Vail vacation!!! Beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking. Hope to be back soon!!!

The property is perfect in so many ways! Next door to the four seasons, parking spot out front, amazing view!!!!!! We loved it, plenty of room for a family of four (2 kids and 2 adults). The amenities were great and had everything we needed to cook an amazing thanksgiving feast. The management company was not only nice but super accommodating. The walk to Vail village is literally less than a block. Lions head is a few blocks but manageable. The shuttle drops and picks up within 20 feet of the property. We will be back!

Located between Lion's Head and Vail Village with just a quick walk to both. The condo was lovely, well maintained and had everything we needed for a wonderful summer weekend in Vail. We were very impressed that the management staff reached out to us upon arrival to ensure that we were settled and had what we needed and they were very responsive to the questions we had. We looked at a lot of condos before we settled on Alphorn and we were extremely pleased with our selection. We honestly dont have a single recommendation for improvement! Nice condo. Great location. Easy walk to Lion's Head or Vail Village. Great lift access at both locations. Fantastic variety of restaurants, ice skating, bowling, hiking. Condo was updated inside. Kitchen appliances and items needed for cooking was perfect. However, no food/condiments provided. Bring cooking oil/salt/pepper/ etc. Owner/manager was very friendly and was available to answer questions and give advice.

Really nice update, great location

We spent 5 days in Vail, my favorite ski mountain. No surprise, the snow base was skimpy, but we found enough trails to ski and enjoyed our trip. The condo has parking, and we took advantage of that. Apparently there is garage parking as well, but we just parked in front of the building. Caution to all visitors: if you are renting a vehicle at the airport I seriously recommend 4-wheel drive, especially if you are coming from Denver. The passes and inclines can be icy and dangerous. It is a 10 minute walk from the condo to Gondola 1, which was easy and pleasant. There is an intown bus that could also be used, but we found walking easier. We stored our skis near the Gondola so that we didn’t hike them back and forth. The condo itself is on the second floor facing the mountain so in the morning you can get a good look at the front face and the existing/evolving conditions. Don’t forget to check the mountain report if you can!!! The condo has recently (VERY recently) been updated and it is very comfortable. It can sleep 4, but we were only 2 people, so each of us had our “own” bathroom. The kitchen is very well equipped. I love to cook, so we took advantage of that one night. Hence the additional need for the car to get to the City Market, one exit west on I-70. There is a counter with contoured leather bar stools to eat breakfast, watch the cook, etc. Of course a dining table, sofa (leather), and an easy chair (not that comfortable). Large TV. Good Wi-Fi. My only very small issue was the water temperature regulation in the shower. The temperature is controlled by a two handle affair from 1962 (I know because my parents have the same fixture in their house that was built in that year), although everything else was newer. Problem was the water was either scalding hot or just a little too cool. The correct temperature was achieved by millimeter adjustments. The beds were comfortable. Right next door is the Four Seasons resort. If you get the chance, go hang out at their bar. It is awesome. I would definitely return to this condo!

Great location. Close to the slopes, close to the free bus stop that takes you from village to village, and beautifully renovated. Maureen was a pleasure to deal with on the phone. Very easy access with door code entry. Place comes with all of the basics, soap, shampoo, dish detergent, towels, linens. Washer and dryer in the condo. Would have been nice to have a pod for washing clothes. Safeway supermarket is just a few minutes away so was able to get what was needed to enjoy the weekend. Would definitely rent again here.

Freshly renovated and close to everything- 5 min walk into Vail and Lionshead Village. Well appointed kitchen, super comfy beds and washer dryer was a plus. I had a couple of childhood buddies in town for a mini-reunion, and we loved our stay here. Excellent location in town on the bus route for skiiing, and easy walking distance to Vail Village and Lionshead. Easy access one-and-a-half floors up, parking right in front. Clean and well-equipped; comfy beds and nice open dining/kitchen/family room/fireplace area. One large bed with a hallway bathroom, and another two-bed room with a second hallway bathroom. Probably pull-out couch though we didn't use it for that. Responsive customer service. Would definitely stay here again.

First Family Ski Trip to Vail

Property is exactly as advertised. A comfortable base for a family of four skiers. Short walk to the Vail town bus shuttle stop. The shuttle goes one direction to Vail Village and the other to Lions Head. Less than 10 minute ride. Lions Head is slightly closer but too far to walk in ski boots. Walking to either location in regular shoes/boots is easy. Gondola One in Vail Village is preferable to the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lions Head. Much shorter wait. We spent nearly all of our ski time in Blue Sky Basin and as little time as possible on the front side of the mountain. If there is a big powder day, the back bowls are epic. Once the powder gets cut up, the bowls lose some of their appeal (but still pretty amazing). Places we liked eating: Pizza: Blue Moose (better pizza), Pazzo (better atmosphere) Breakfast: The little diner (get the eggs benedict and substitute corned beef hash for potatoes). Dinner: LaTour -- expensive but good food and attentive service. On the mountain: Stay in Blue Sky Basin and get a chili dog (or just chili) at the Dawg Haus at the base of Pete's Express Chair. Otherwise, the mountain cafeterias are unremarkable. The property owners/managers are very attentive. They fixed the bathroom door latches the same day we asked. Only improvement I'd suggest is replacing the shower water faucets -- the water pressure it touchy and it's hard to get a stable temp in the shower -- freezing then scalding. Other than that it's a fine place to stay.

Summer vacation

The condo was very nice. It is not child proof for young children. The tv and conponents need to be secured off the floor and out of the way of toddlers. Sofa could use to be updated. Great location!!

Great Spring Break with my husband and son

Very comfortable beds. I particularly loved the extra blankets to cuddle with in the evening while watching tv in front of the fire. Being so close to the bus stop was a fantastic way to get to and from Lionshead Gondola. The last day that I didn't ski I walked the very short walk to Lionshead.

Nice, well equipped unit, in good location. Easy walk to either Lionshead or Vail village for shopping, and 2 stops on the shuttle to the lifts (not a pleasant distance to walk in ski boots).

Stay at Alphorn #204

Very comfortable condo in a terrific location for walking and exploring Vail Village and Lionshead Village. Great value. It is maybe 50 yards from the bus stop to Lionshead and 150 yards from the bus stop to Vail Village. For skiing it is not easily walkable to either gondola in ski boots and carrying skis. Buses are frequent and easy. Parking is convenient right outside the building; must use stairs - no elevator.

My brother, two friends and I recently stayed a week at Alphorn 204. It was a memorable week that I doubt any of us will soon forget. A lot of that is due to the location of this condo. It is located walking distances to Vail Village and Lionshead. We were able to wake up every morning, eat breakfast, enjoy a cup of coffee and arrive easily before the gondola opened. The place was the perfect size for the four of us and a great place to relax after a long day on the mountain. Also, the views from the balcony are breath taking. It is beautiful opening all the blinds up early in the morning. Overall, it's just a great cozy little place to enjoy all that Vail has to offer. P.S. Eat at The Little Diner during your stay.

The location of the Alphorn Condos is about as good as locations in Vail get, and the comfort of Alphorn 204 makes it a great choice. If the 3 humidifiers would have worked well, I would give the unit an 'A' rating. We very much enjoyed our stay and we will return.

Great ski week in Vail

This unit is a nice spacious 2 bedroom. We have stayed in it twice before, a few years ago. Easy to find, easy to park in front, and easy to get in (keyless coded entry pad). Short steps from the Vail bus stop to get you to either Vail or Lionshead gondolas. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, and having 2 full baths is great since we were two couples for a few nights. One note for the managers: some electrical outlets need a little TLC. Other than that, everything was great and we loved our stay.

Great place to live in Vail

My friends and I went to Vail in the Thanksgiving holiday and lived in the Alphorn 204. It is really a great place! You can find all things you need in the apartment without purchasing new one by yourself. The position is also very great. You can walk to the ski lift. I really love this place!

Nice Accomodations. Comfortable - will come back. Central location is incredible, we walked everywhere,never rode a bus - quite nice. Made for a wonderful Vail mountain vacation.
