Meadows at EagleRidge Normandy I is a fantastic Steamboat vacation rental for families, couples or a boys or girls trip. This recently and fabulously updated 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo is perfectly situated along Burgess Creek and only two blocks from the gondola/base area. You are close enough to walk on a paved path to skiing in the winter and the Steamboat ‘beach’ in the summer, as well as restaurants, pubs and shopping year-round. You also have the convenience of free shuttle service to the mountain, town, restaurants and pubs in the winter and are located across the street from a YEAR-ROUND free bus stop to the mountain, town, grocery stores and more.
The unit itself is a very large and uber clean. Though technically a 2 bedroom, it has an extra living area with two twin beds and a connected full bathroom, and lives more like a 3 bedroom condo. The entire condo has been recently updated, from solid wood doors and trim, carpet, fantastic furniture to the stunningly updated bathrooms and kitchen. It even offers air conditioning, a rare find in Steamboat!
Normandy I has a great entryway with benches and plenty of storage for all of your coats, boots, etc. It leads you to the spacious open living area. The beautifully updated, full kitchen features gorgeous granite countertops, black appliances, beautiful wood cabinets and and is fully stocked with everything you'll need to stay in a make a meal. There are 4 padded, bar stools at the kitchen counter, along with a beautiful, brand new dining table, conveniently off the kitchen.
Also off the kitchen is ample comfortable seating. Kick back and relax on the brand new sofa, love seat, rocking chair or over sized bean bag and watch a game, movie or show on the large flat screen TV. Right there is both a gas fireplace to keep you toasty and a wet bar to keep you happy (byob). Access the covered deck off the living area and enjoy some fresh mountain air, as well as mountain and valley views with your favorite beverage. You can also prepare dinner on the units private gas grill. Don’t be surprised if you get to see a moose, elk, bear or fox! Don't worry, you are very safe on an elevated balcony. In the summer, the HOA opens up this private deck to be one of the largest for a condo you ever seen. Both the sofa (queen) and love seat (twin) pull out and are also beds. Linens provided upon request.
The King Master Suite is at the end of the condo and provides a comfortable king bed, a flat screen tv, lots of windows and storage. It also has a private full bathroom with a walk in shower.
The twin bedroom (can be converted to a king bed upon request) is in the same hallway as the Master Suite. It also has lots of windows and storage.
There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo in the hallway outside of the twin bedroom.
Off the living area is another bedroom suite with a queen Murphy bed and full bathroom with a walk in shower. When the bed is in the up position, there is desk with 2 monitors and a chair. Fantastically designed, the monitors are mounted to the desk and miraculously fold up under the bed when the bed is down. Combined with the high-speed wifi, this all makes Normandy I the perfect location for your working remotely Steamboat getaway!
There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.
Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.
Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.
