Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Great location, can use some updates
3/5 stars
Great ski in ski out location. 2 bathrooms redone and kitchen nice. Master bath can use some updates as can the interior paint and carpeting. 4pm check in and 10am check out seems pretty severe. They are charging a full day rent for pretty much a half day stay. All in all a decent place.

Beautiful townhouse overlooking a canyon ski trail
5/5 stars
7 of us (all adults) stayed in this 4BR townhouse at Steamboat Springs. Views from the large windows in the back were lovely, with snow in the trees and skiers zipping down the ski trail in the canyon below. The kitchen was set up nicely so we could cook breakfast each morning. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were clean and pretty (though the master bedroom hot tub jets didn't turn on). The open plan living room space held comfy sofas and recliner chairs looking out the large glass windows to the skiing below. All the bedrooms had beautiful views out the windows. We didn't rent a car, using a shuttle to get back and forth from the airport, the Storm Meadows shuttle system to get to the base and back, the iTrip shuttle to go door-to-door to wherever, and the free buses to get around town (shuttle drivers warned us that walking from the townhouse to the base was not recommended because there are no sidewalk). The public shuttle system ran every half hour from early morning to 4:50PM, while the iTrip shuttle could be requested up to 10PM with 1 hour notice. This required a bit of planning as we had to specify dropoff and pickup times for dinner, but iTrip was flexible and when dinner ran late we could call to delay pickup. Ski-out was a bit tricky as you had to exit the sliding glass doors on the lowest level and then drop perhaps 20 feet to the ski trail below. We cut a diagonal path through the deep snow to reduce the slope and make it easier to descend while wearing skis. Skiing back worked better if you removed your skis and hiked up the path. The back doors did not have combination locks so one person had to climb up around the townhouse, open the combination lock on the front door, then unlock the sliding glass doors on the bottom level. Some days some of us just skied to the base, then took the Storm Meadows shuttle to townhouse #1, and then hiked up a block or so to #21. Shuttle service was predictable and reliable and great. This was a memorable trip for us, and we all loved this rental!

Great location, fantastic service

Condo wad just as advertised and true ski in/out. The iTrip team was amazing and we had fee shuttle service all over town. The condo was impeccably clean

We loved this home!
5/5 stars
This home was so clean, comfortable, and in a great location! The home has recently been refinished and had everything we needed. We appreciated how organized everything was. The only difficulty we had was with parking. There are only 2 spots available for this condo, and there are extremely limited options for public parking anywhere in Steamboat. The ski-in ski-out access and the proximity to the ski village was amazing! Overall, would definitely recommend!

Primetime location- Great Accommodations
5/5 stars
We loved our stay at this townhome. Spacious for our party and had almost everything we needed. We loved the ski in/ out access this provided right on the side of the mtn. Kitchen was well stocked and all linens, and toiletries provided were a nice touch. We did have to pay an upcharge for the pack n play which was annoying since our nightly rate was very expensive. They did throw in some nice touches such as providing toys for our daughter. They were very responsive with texts all during the day which is greatly appreciated.

Ski-In Ski-Awesome!
5/5 stars
This recently renovated Townhome was great! It is a true ski-in ski-out location where you can step off the back porch, put your skis on and off you go. We ordered food directly from Safeway and the groceries were delivered right on time. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the townhome, using the updated kitchen, and enjoyed cocktails on the back porch with a fantastic view of the mountain. We also discovered that it's a fairly easy walk from the T-Bar cantina up the Right-of-way ski run, after re-hydrating, from a long day of skiing. The iTrip shuttle was very convenient and the driver very friendly...we used it to go into town and sent him a text when ready for a pick-up. There isn't a bathroom on the main level but they are easily accessible either upstairs or downstairs. Overall a great place that we will definitely consider for future visits!

Worked well for us.
3/5 stars
With 8 adults, And 3 children- 7, 21/2, and 8 months, the convenience of ski in ski out was in valuable. The condo in general needs updating and there were some things that sisn’t work- lights, uncomfortable beds etc. it was utilitarian and not fancy but that worked for us!

Roomy and Convenient
5/5 stars
The four bedrooms gave us plenty of room for our family reunion, and the layout (bedrooms on top and bottom levels) allowed the night owls and early risers to congregate in the middle level without disturbing others. The condo is a bit age-worn, but this presented no problem for us!

Fee Fo Review
3/5 stars
Reservation process was perfect and checkin and checkout was super easy. A little disappointed by all the broken things in condo and old carpet which smelled. Left a list of things we noticed were broken as requested by reservation agent. Otherwise, we had a lovely time and location was beautiful!

Easy to work with mgr/great location
4/5 stars
The accommodations are extremely dated and there are some cosmetic issues downstairs BUT you cannot beat the location and Justin, the property manager, was so accommodating. Easy check in/check out procedures

Amazing!
5/5 stars
We had an amazing time! The townhouse is perfectly located, and the layout is great. They main living area with a fireplace, and kitchen and dinning area are on the ground floor when you walk in from the front door. Two large bedrooms downstairs with a full bathroom. Then two more bedrooms, and two full bathrooms upstairs. Lots of room and very comfortable. Each floor has a large balcony looking at the mountain and you can watch the skiers and snowboarders go right by the unit. The bottom floor balcony has steps that go down to a green run that will will bring you right to the base of the mountain to get on any of the lifts or gondola to head up the mountain. There are two parking spaces with one of them covered. Absolutely love the ski in and out, but if you prefer you can get a shuttle to take you within a matter of a couple of minutes of calling. Would definitely come back here, and highly recommend to anyone. I've been to many different resorts and mountains in Colorado, but this was our first time in Steamboat, and I can say this was our favorite of all.

The location of the house is really good. We enjoyed the ski in and out, without any hassle. The view of all the rooms in the house is amazing, and everything worked as expected.

Powder Days
5/5 stars
Location! The place was great with the easiest ski in/out we have experienced. Literally put boots on, go down 5 steps and put skis on and onto the slopes! Was perfect for our group so Individuals could leave to get First Tracks or relax in the mornings. Also, Jason was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay and will book again the next time we return to Steamboat.

Hovendick stay
3/5 stars
We loved the location and the townhome was perfect for my family. My only negative comments are the few things that were broke and need repairs like the front door and the ski locker door slopeside. But overall it was a great place for my family. Perfect location. Thanks

A Happy Holiday
5/5 stars
A wonderful Christmas location. Slept 8 adults and 2 children comfortably (although 6 month old twins did not know this was supposed to be a restful holiday). The location is what this unit is all about. We had 2 feet of snow while we were there - so great skiing. The unit itself is up for sale and it is obvious that they don't want to put any extra money into it. Last facelift was probably 25 years ago. That being said, the beds were comfortable and the unit was clean.

Awesome stay
5/5 stars
This place is retro but cool. It was absolutely perfect for our group of 8 adults that love to ski but have all different skiing abilities. As a ski-in/ski-out condo we had the flexibility as a group to ski as we wished each day. The beds were super comfy. The dining table is large and accommodating for large groups. Shuttle service was a bonus as well. And Jason is super easy to work with. Thanks for the sweet pad!

Sweet Steamboat
5/5 stars
Jason was extremely accommodating as I had to book last minute for some family that came into town. He was flexible and quickly replied to our emails initially and checked up on us as the trip reached it's conclusion. The property itself is well-located and has excellent views. Would definitely book with Jason again!

Good times in Steamboat Springs!
5/5 stars
We stayed at Storm Meadows #21 for three nights and really enjoyed our time in Steamboat Springs! This four bedroom unit was perfect for our group of nine with everyone getting a bed. Storm Meadows #21 was very clean upon arrival and everything in the unit was in working order. We would not hesitate to book Storm Meadows #21 again in the future.

Storm Meadows Townhouse
5/5 stars
We rented this four bedroom townhouse in March 2017. It was perfect. Easy access to the slopes right out the backdoor of the lower bedrooms. Having a locker located in the front and back of the property made things especially convenient. We asked Jason the booking agent, who was always quick to respond, why this place seemed to sell at a slight discount to competition properties. His guess: the fact that the kitchen isn't tricked out with new granite counters. Which was no problem with us. The kitchen was fully stocked with toaster (and more importantly, a bagel toaster) and the pantry cabinet had staples such as olive oil, hot sauce, etc. Also: the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries, so no need to freak out if you forgot the shampoo. We had five people, but it could comfortably accommodate 10 people -- three queen beds, a king and two twins. Thanks Jason and iTrips!
