Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Reviews

Steamboat
5/5 stars
Condo was very clean and stocked well for our stay. The onsite check in was great. I truly like the private shuttle, just text and set up a time. Condo was large but, could use a new couch. My only dislike was having to uses keys to access commons area and elevator area. Maybe during the day these can be unlock to help access with ski equipment. Support from Itrip was great, next trip I'll book directly with them.

Great trip

Steamboat in the fall is so calm! The condo was nice, perfect size for us. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, quick response from the host when the kitchen sink light was out. thanks!

Great Location
4/5 stars
The best part about the Condo was the location. In my opinion, the walk down ski out was not a big deal at all. The condo was also an easy walk to restaurants in the Steamboat base area. The balcony had a great view. The biggest problem I had with the property was the bedroom with the attached bathroom's toilet did not flush. I texted the help line to fix the toilet and was told someone would be by to fix it. When I returned to the property the toilet would still not flush properly, so I am not sure if a plumber even came by. The property was a little out dated as well. Other than that I would stay again.

Storm Meadows #490
4/5 stars
Overall, we had a very positive experience. The check in and check out process was very easy. Our contact was very responsive and even sent over dishwasher detergent when we couldn’t find any. The location was great and the condo was very clean when we arrived. The only downside was the distance from the condo to the slopes. It’s advertised as a ski out, but it should be more of a walk out and ski in. If you have to carry your skis down multiple flights of stairs, cross a street, and walk a block or so to get to a point where you put on your skis, it should not be considered ski out. I’ve stayed at other Storm Meadows condos in other buildings and those are true ski outs; this one is not.
- Sara

Sara, we appreciate the input on Storm Meadows Condo #490. As noted in the headline as well as the property description page, Storm Meadows Condo #490 is a True Ski In/Walk Out. Thank you. iTrip Steamboat

Nice getaway
4/5 stars
Overall, the condo met our needs. It was great to have a comfortable place to relax and getaway from the City to make new memories with family. My parents haven't been able to travel these last few years for a variety of reasons. The elevator on the property was really helpful to make the stay comfortable and accessible for everyone. The view from the balcony was nice and the place was very clean. The unit itself is comfortable although it could use a few upgrades. Mainly, the master shower really needs an upgrade. It's a small corner stall shower with no shelf so shampoo, soap, etc, is all on the floor. Perhaps not a concern for most skiers that come stay but it's a bit challenging for older people with mobility limitations. Check-in and check-out process was easy and the management team was attentive without being overbearing.
- Becky

Thank you Becky for the review of Storm Meadows Condo #490. We are so glad the condo met your needs, that you enjoyed the view and that the iTrip Vacations Steamboat Springs Team was attentive to your needs. We appreciate your input on the shower. Thank you! iTrip Vacations Steamboat Springs

Amazing

Our stay was amazing. Cleanliness, comfort, coziness, every detail in this condo is more than excellent.

Nice place
4/5 stars
Nice place. Adequate accommodations but could use a bit of updating, particularly the bed mattresses. Near the slopes but not a true ski-in ski-out. Must walk down about 6 flights of stairs in boots and with skis. All in all, a decent value and would definitely stay again.

Nice Views
3/5 stars
Overall good, but need to resolve the key/lock situation. Pros: Nice furnishings, spacious bedrooms and living area, king beds in both rooms, fireplace, great views. Cons: Logistically annoying to get in/out of due to multiple, locked doors between entrances and unit. You can't get to the condo entrance or out of the unit without having a key which is annoying when trying to haul lots of luggage, skis and other things to / from. You can end up in a situation where you are in the condo and can't get out of main the building because you don't have a key. I would recommend installing key pads or something to make this a bit less of a nuisance. Other notes: You can walk to the slopes, but it's uphill and a bit more than a parking lot away so not super easy with kiddos. Ski in is possible as advertised. Would add TV in second bedroom.

Convenient
5/5 stars
Great location near by all the shops and downtown steamboat! 2 bedrooms but there was an extra bed in the den and two couches so plenty of space. Had everything we needed. No AC as usual in that area but the location had great breezes when you opened the windows and fans were available. Great views of the mountains and ski lift! There are quite a bit of stairs to go down to get to the unit if mobility is an issue but there is an elevator.

Summer Steamboat Trip
5/5 stars
The condo was great and had great views of the mountain. Our only issue was a blind that broke but someone was there within 15 min to try and fix it. They used a temp blind that worked fine. Would recommend this place!
