Unit #280 is one of the best locations, if not the best in the building. You're essentially a private entrance to the unit that you can ski right up to, a great patio outside your door with amazing mountain views and you are steps to both the hot tub and the staircase that takes you to the ski trail you ski out of.

The property is nicely updated and offers an open living area with comfortable seating on a leather sofa (pulls out for a 2nd bed) and chair. Sit back and relax by the stone gas fireplace and take in the views and/or the flat screen TV. Off of the living area is the remodeled kitchen, featuring gorgeous granite counter tops, beautiful stainless appliances, cherry wood cabinetry and four counter bar stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking a meal.

The master bedroom suite features a comfy, queen sized bed and remodeled, full bathroom including a shower and tub.

Right outside the front door is a nice patio with your own table and two chairs, and amazing mountain views, that you can ski right up to! You are steps from the community picnic table, hot tub and grill and right near the stairwell you walk down to access the ski trail to the gondola or Christy chair lift. There is a community fire pit on the property that is great to relax after a day on the slopes.

There is a secured ski locker in the building for all of your gear and free parking outside the building.

During the summer, you are right there on the biking and hiking trails, near base area where you have access to other activities such as the roller coaster, mini golf, plenty of kid friendly activities, free concerts and movies.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Review of STorm Mountain Condo
2/5 stars
We stayed at Storm Mountain condo August 15-18. The unit we stayed in was very nice. Clean and supplied well. It was comfortable. On the other hand, we had issues with the common areas which looked like it needed cleaned and updated. As one walks into the building you get a sense that this place is going to be bad. The elevator is dirty and railings throughout the complex need attention. The big problem is parking. The unit we were in was far away from parking. We were given a parking pass but when we returned at night no parking was available. We had to park in another unit's complex with fear of getting towed away. Our parking pass was not good for where we had to park. In addition, we were concerned that the keys to the unit we stayed in could be easily copied by anyone. In fact, one of the keys was made at Ace Hardware. This was a security concern for us. Unit 5 stars -- everything else 1 star.

Just phenomenal
5/5 stars
Stumbled upon this gem of a 1-bed ski-in-ski-out condo in Steamboat, and it exceeded all expectations! The location is primo, just steps away from the slopes. The interior is super cozy, and the thoughtful amenities made the stay top-notch. Highly recommend for an unforgettable ski experience!

Good value
5/5 stars
Nice condo. Living area is nice, and the kitchen is great. Ski in, walk out was great. Ideal for a couple. It is not in walking distance of restaurants, and this unit is not near the parking lot for hauling groceries and luggage. iTrip customer service was very good. They helped us with a couple of small issues very promptly. All in, the unit was a good value.

Great Ski Condo in Steamboat
5/5 stars
Had a great stay here for early season skiing in Steamboat. The condo was very comfortable with plenty of home comforts thrown in. It was so comfortable that we stayed in most evenings and cooked and watched the huge TV. Instructions from the agent were great and very responsive to any requests including shuttle bus to town. The condo is a 2 min walk to the slopes which was super convenient. No real faults to report and definitely a place I would stay again without hesitation.

Wonderful Stay!
5/5 stars
We found the condo to be clean, cozy, and comfortable. There were several little conveniences that just made the stay more enjoyable - The full wall mirror, the extra bench, storage shelf, wall hooks, entry area hooks and chair, and the open shelves in the kitchen area. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The attention to detail and finishes throughout the condo are obvious. Upon first arriving it may be a bit tricky to locate the unit entrance but then it is well worth it. It is an exterior entrance and we enjoyed sitting out on the ground level patio as well as the sunny exposure it afforded. The owners are quick to respond and great to work with. The management company was also very attentive. We had no issues but they reached out to make sure our stay was going well. We would definitely rent this unit again and we can highly recommend it to anyone looking.

This condo is in an ideal location if wanting to be on the mountain. Great views and the place is updated and cozy. We appreciated the lower level and being next to the hot tub. Absolutely loved our stay. Would love to come back some day.

We were hoping to get a couple days of spring skiing in a lovely condo in a great spot and instead had an epic week of snow. We enjoyed every minute of our stay from the condo, the hot tub, the location, the mountain, and the cozy and hip town. We can't wait to come back!

Great Condo!
5/5 stars
We stayed here for 4 nights with our 9 month old son and it was (almost) everything we needed! Pros -Ski in and walk out was awesome. The walk out is very easy. Just down a couple short flights of stairs and across the road, then you’re on the slopes. -The free shuttle service was easy to book. We took it to go grocery shopping and when we went into town for dinner one night (about a 15 min drive awhile it was dumping snow…probably much shorter in milder weather). -Very short walking distance to the base of the mountain with restaurants, bars, and a few shops. -The jacuzzi is right next to the unit, so we were able to go in while our son was sleeping and our monitor was still in range. -The condo was very clean, the bed was comfy, the kitchen had all the appliances you could need, and the tv and internet worked great. -Contactless check in was seamless. We received an email telling us how to access the keys for the unit from a lock box. Con -Because you have to take the stairs to get to the main road our babysitter was not able to take our baby on a stroller walk on her own. You would need two people to get the stroller and the baby down the stairs safely, especially because the stairs were a little icy and slippery while we were there. This wouldn’t be an issue with a toddler who can walk on their own or if the caretaker is comfortable leaving the baby alone in the condo for a few minutes. We’re just right at the stage that neither of those options were possible.

Condo was excellent, only complaint is key system was a little outdated so might want to look at digitized keypad. Also it would be great to give a heads up that the condo is only accessible from the outside when listing, this made moving luggage a little awkward but not unbearably so.
- Will

Thank you Will for the review of Storm Meadows Condo #280. We appreciate the input regarding the key system and we also appreciate the 5 star review! iTrip Steamboat

Absolutely Perfect
5/5 stars
The condo was in a great location and the condition of the condo was perfect. Very clean with toiletries provided, as well as everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our meals during our visit. Grocery stores nearby (I recommend the Central Market) made it easy to grab what we needed for our stay, and there are wonderful dining options and plenty of activities close by as well. We were able to walk to the ski area for a gondola ride and there are plenty of trails to explore close by!

Great condo close to slopes
5/5 stars
This condo was truly ski-in and an easy walk out to the slopes (this video shows you the walk-out: https://youtu.be/mjORrl8SVTU). It was a perfect size for a trip with our daughter. The foam mattress on the queen bed was the most comfortable we've slept on, so we didn't miss our king-sized mattress at home. It sleeper sofa also had a foam mattress, so my 21-year-old daughter slept well. The hot tub was just outside our front door. While cozy in size, the condo's owners have provided enough storage space with plenty of hooks and cabinets so that you can keep all your gear organized. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, dishes and spices/condiments/oil in the cabinet. We loved our stay here and would stay here again.

AMAZING STAY

The Storm Meadows Condo was absolutely beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed! It was close to downtown Steamboat and I can only imagine how magical it must be when there is snow on the ground. Gorgeous, clean, homey, and comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

10/10 Recommend
5/5 stars
This place is amazing! Location is probably the best you can get — ski-in and ski-out, jacuzzi right next to the house, and you can see the mountain just outside the front door. There's also a picnic table right out front and a bbq grill. The home was really clean and very cozy. The kitchen has basically everything you need and the host was very attentive to our needs so that was really nice. Overall, highly recommend it! This place is everything you need and more!

Steamboat Springs Review
5/5 stars
Had a great stay in this cozy little gem! The location is awesome and really quiet. Super comfy bed in the main bedroom and my friends slept great on the pullout as well. The town is super lively and we ate at some great places like Backdoor Grill and Mazzolos. We ordered a shuttle to the hot springs which picked us up right at the place and dropped us off, which was awesome. Definitely go at night! We'd definitely stay here again - thinking about coming back in winter.

Splendid ski condo
5/5 stars
This is about the best ski condo we’ve rented. It is comfortable, attractive, and extremely well equipped. Really, you could live here and cook Thanksgiving dinner. We did not meet the owner, but the management company people were great— responsive, friendly, helpful. The condo is truly ski-in, but not really ski-out. You have to go down a number of stairs and cross a road, but this turns out to be much less trouble than we thought at first. Very, very pleasant place to stay.
- Laura
Great cozy spot to enjoy the mtns

We enjoyed our cute & cozy spot right on the side of the mountains. Every one around the condo area was kind, courteous & helpful. The condo was excellent & comfortable, and a great spot to cozy up in during a beautiful snowfall. Thanks for having us !
