Meadows at EagleRidge Normandy III is a spectacular Steamboat vacation rental for families, couples or a boys or girls trip. This very nicely updated 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo is ideally situated along Burgess Creek and only two blocks from the gondola/base area. You are close enough to walk on a paved path to skiing in the winter and the Steamboat ‘beach’ in the summer, as well as restaurants, pubs and shopping year-round. You also have the convenience of free shuttle service to the mountain, town, restaurants and pubs in the winter and are located across the street from a YEAR-ROUND free bus stop to the mountain, town, grocery stores and more.

The unit itself is bright, immaculate and spacious, yet extremely cozy, both in character and climate. The clean and classy furniture, artwork, fantastic wood flooring and other décor thought out the condo combined with ample heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer (a rare find in Steamboat), make this one of the most comfortable and alluring properties you will find.

The Normandy III entryway provides the perfect landing spot with ample storage and a bench. It leads you to the open living area and the dining table, which comfortably seats 6, as well as 4 bar stools at the kitchen counter. The beautifully updated, full kitchen is right off the dining area and features stainless steel appliances, lots of cabinet and counter space and is completely stocked with everything you'll need to stay in a make a meal.

The living area offers lots of windows, light and comfortable seating. Kick back and relax on the sofa or love seat and watch a game, movie or show on the large flat screen TV. There is also a gas fireplace that will keep you toasty. Access the covered deck right off the living area and enjoy some fresh mountain air with your favorite beverage. Don’t be surprised if you get to see a moose, elk, bear or fox! Don't worry, you are very safe on an elevated balcony.

The King Master Suite is at one end of the condo and provides a fabulous king bed, a flat screen tv, lots of windows and has its own full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

The twin bedroom is in the same hallway as the King Master Suite and also has lots of windows and two twin beds that can be converted to king bed upon request. There is a full bathroom with a walk in shower in the hallway outside of the twin bedroom.

The Queen Master Suite is at the other end of the condo. Along with a comfy queen bed and lots of windows, it has its own private covered balcony as well as a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience.

Meadows at EagleRidge has great property amenities including a YEAR-ROUND outdoor heated pool, and hot tub, a BBQ area, fitness center and free shuttle services (winter only) to take guests to the ski area, shopping, dining and other area activities. You have your own locked ski locker and one parking space in the heated garage. Limited guest parking available on a 1st come 1st serve basis. There is an elevator that takes you from the garage to the unit.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Tenant agrees to leave premises/contents in same condition as found upon move-in, normal wear/wear expected
Max number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding/using premises for illegal activity/causing damage to premises or neighboring properties and other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.
No open flames. Candle burning not permitted on balconies/in unit with exception of wood burning fireplace. Do not remove smoke detectors. Use stove fan when cooking to avoid smoke alarm activation.
There is no daily maid service but can be arranged for fee.
"No pets" policy must be observed (unless noted as pet friendly/fees have been paid). If evidence found you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent/deposit.
No smoking in unit. Damage deposit will be forfeited/you will incur charge of $1000 if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered. You will incur additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if evidence of smoking.
Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as person under age of 25. We require one member of party to be 25. Violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
Owner/owners agents may enter premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary repairs/alterations/improvements/supply necessary services/show premises to prospective purchasers/renters/contractors. Owner will provide at least 24 hrs notice of intent to enter (except in case of emergency)
Report maintenance needs, we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating/air conditioning/appliances/televisions.
iTrip or Owner, do not assume liability for loss/damage/injury to persons/personal property nor accepts liability for inconveniences/damage/loss/injury arising from temporary defects/stoppage of water/gas/cable/wifi/electricity/plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions/natural disasters/acts of God/other reasons beyond its control.
Tenant acknowledges if premises reserved includes a community pool, the undersigned agrees and acknowledges pool/patio/deck can be dangerous, the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and injury may occur if not careful. With full knowledge of above,Tenant accepts/assumes all risks involved to Tenant/Tenant's guests related to use of pool/patio areas.
Tenant fully releases/discharges Owner from all liabilities/claims/demands/causes of action by reason of any injury/loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any guests as result, or connection with occupancy of premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
Any violation that incurs a fine will be tenant responsibility. Examples include improper trash disposal, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.

Skiing was a quick shuttle away and pretty easy to get to the base. Overall nice place with plenty of room that checked all of the boxes. We took Ubers the nights we went out for dinner which were all quick rides with short wait times, so no issue there either. We didn’t rent a car and had no issues getting around, but could see wanting one if the priority isn’t skiing. I would recommend to any group or family.

Bigger than expected

We had a great experience in steamboat but the house did have its pros and cons. Let’s do the cons first Cons- the house is listed as having air conditioning, but it has a tiny tiny cooler only in the living room that barely puts out any air even at full blast. So the rest of the house does no benefit from that tiny “AC unit”. The place is also a lot older than it looks and most of the windows you can’t even open. Again making the house very very hot. Pros- a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. Great size kitchen and dinning/living area. Perfect for watching tv, games, dinner etc. the house did come with a lot of floor fans which was nice. Fridge had built in ice maker and water which was really nice. We didn’t do a lot of cooking at the house so I am not sure on the kitchen supplies but it seemed alright to me.

My stay at Meadows at EagleRidge Normandy III was fare. The unit was spacious and clean. There was some miscommunication about the unit having central AC as well as the view. There were also some windows that were broken, which a previous renter mentioned so I am unsure why they were still broken when we arrived. The issues that we did have management quickly addressed them. The street that the unit looks over is extremely noisy which makes it hard to go to sleep early and sleep in. I would stay at Meadows at EagleRidge again, but not this unit.

This Condo is in a great location and is the perfect size and layout for a family or group of friends to enjoy the luxuries of a vacation with the conveniences of being in a home. Beds were all comfortable with plenty of pillows, the 3 rooms were all spacious, bright, and well-appointed with furniture and storage. Three full bathrooms is a real benefit when traveling as a group, as is having on-site laundry! The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you need including a crock pot and a large countertop griddle that easily whipped up 6 burgers and bacon all at the same time. The garage is heated which is AWESOME to get into a warm car in the middle of winter. The owners are eager to ensure all their guests have 5-star stays and the management company was very responsive to our few questions about passcodes and busses. It was a great trip, thank you for the great accommodations!
