Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Fun Visit!
4/5 stars
Overall we had a great stay at this property. We had ten adults and felt like the space accommodated us perfectly. The two living areas were nice to hang out in- foosball table was a fun perk! We all fit in the dining room for family dinner. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances. Location is very nice as well. We did have a couple issues. Check in is 4pm and we weren’t able to actually get in the property until 4:30 because they were still cleaning when we arrived. The cleaning crew was nice and apologetic, but still a bit disappointing to not be able to get in and relax after a long drive. We also couldn’t figure out how to get the AC running. iTrip was responsive to these issues even with it being a holiday week so that was appreciated. Overall we would consider staying here again in the future!

Great place for a ski group base
5/5 stars
This is a nice condo and served our group of 10 guys well. While it is listed as sleeping 12, that's only true if you have two people in each of the 3 queen beds, which we did not, so a couple of guys slept on couches. The location is excellent, short walk to the ski slope on the road or the path (we found the road was a bit shorter). The private hot tub is primo. Good kitchen. 2-car garage was very handy. It appears to be well sound-insulated from the neighbors, since we made a fair amount of noise and nobody complained!

Ski vacation
5/5 stars
This unit worked really well for grandparents, and two families with two kids each. Plenty of room to spread out in, easy access to the mountain for skiing, and a well stocked kitchen to cook in almost every night.

Great for Holidays
5/5 stars
This house was perfect for our family. Loved the bunk bed room and lower level living area for the kids to play. The kitchen was well over equipped with everything needed to make a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner! The house was cozy and the hot-tub on the back deck was an added bonus. We will definitely book again in the future!

Great space and easy access skiing.
5/5 stars
Well designed unit with multiple spaces for young and old. We were two grandparents and our daughters and their families (four adults and five children aged 1 1/2 to 14). Each family unit had bedrooms on separate floors and the downstairs bedrooms were separate enough from the game room that noise was not an issue when younger children went to sleep. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and gratefully an array of spices that we could use. The refrigerator was huge which was helpful with our larger group. The shuttle came by frequently to pickup skiers and it was also an easy walk to the slopes. The unit’s hot tub was not available but there was a community one right across the street that was large and usually free of others. For those interested in tennis, the tennis center was a three minute drive with lots of clinics and a friendly helpful staff. We all had a great week!

A Convenient Place To Stay for Skiing
4/5 stars
We were a large group of adults from 1 family, 9 in total, and the set up of this house was perfect. It was close enough to walk to and from the gondola area several times a day if you needed or wanted to. There was also a convenient shuttle that ran regularly which you could take. The house is quite spacious and with the 2 living areas you could get some quiet from the larger crowd if you needed. We also used the hot tub quite a bit and it was much appreciated! The kitchen in this house is amazing! If you have any desire to cook there is no appliance or tool that is not available, it is great! Also, there are tons of pantry staples available so you don't have to spend money on basics, they are there. It is also quite easy to get to shopping and downtown Steamboat from the house.

OK place to stay
4/5 stars
All in all it was an OK stay. I wouldn't describe it as a terrible stay, but I wouldn't stay there again. The management company was responsive when I asked about checkout terms and sent all of the check-in information promptly before checkin. Had we reached out about some of the below issues, I'm confident that they would have addressed some of them, but we didn't want the hassle. Pros: The space was good for two families (4 adults, 7 kids). The location was good for a quick drive to the ski lodge or a 12-minute walk to the lodge without ski boots. The complimentary private shuttle was difficult to schedule and we ended up using our own car, a different rental company's shuttle and/or the public shuttle which has a stop across the street. Its only 5 minutes to the Safeway grocery store and convenient to get to both the town and ski lodge. The beds were comfortable and clean and there were ample towels. The kitchen is well-stocked with tools and spices/oils/condiments, etc. Cons: I agree with another reviewer that noted there is too much furniture and decor cluttering the space. It feels much more like you are staying at someone's home rather than in a vacation rental (if that makes sense?). The basement drain was clogged and the basement shower has an awkward entry. We did not reach out to management about this, but just dealt with it ourselves. The temperature control in the shower is difficult as well. It goes from scalding hot to ice cold without any temperature adjustment. Several dishes were dirty (perhaps a housekeeping oversight). We did not reach out to management about this, but just dealt with it ourselves. The walls/doors/floors are thin, so once one child is up, the entire house is up. The parking is limited and the garage spaces are too tight to fit two standard (not large) SUV's. The neighboring unit parked into our space, so we had to park one car directly behind the other making transport difficult.

Steamboat Springs - cascades
3/5 stars
The place was getting dated and the larger furniture made it difficult to move around especially the dining/kitchen area. Difficult to get into the hot tub- nothing to help get you in. Kitchen was well appointed. That being said- the place was fine and location good ( presently road construction took longer to get to exit but it is summer and season for road construction. Good location to Mountain- in Winter - it must be nice. Good time was had by all and would come back to Steamboat.

Fantastic location

Just right for our family of 11
5/5 stars
This home accommodated our family vacation quite well. We were 6 adults and 5 kids, ages 2-10. The beds were comfortable, plentiful towels, well stocked kitchen, and games provided. We loved the location, the kids especially loved the charming little mountain stream across the street, and in addition we had a mother moose and her young calf come through the neighborhood one morning. The location was convenient to the bike path and walkable to a few restaurants. The downside had nothing to do with the house, but rather wild fires north of SB making the air Smokey and 1 70 traffic detoured through town, as well as the alpine slide and the river were closed. We did love our hikes, beautiful golf course, wild flowers and wild life and found a lake to paddle board in at Stagecoach State Park.

Great Ski Trip
4/5 stars
Booked the Cascades at Eagle Ridge for a ski trip to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The property was a good choice for a medium sized group of 10. The parking during the winter is a little left to be desired as most everyone in the group drove a full sized truck and were unable to fit any more then 1 vehicle inside the garage (diagonally)... but we worked around it. The home was sizable for the group and provided every amenity we were looking for during the visit. The shuttle service is likely one of the easiest and most accessible shuttle services we have used in Steamboat - all that was needed was a phone call to schedule the service and it was handled! I will definitely be looking at iTrip properties in the future for booking ski trips.

We had an Awesome time in spite of COVID. The house was spacious, great location, and made all of us feel like we’re home while away from home. Definitely a place we will come to again!!! I have already recommended it to my family and friends.

Fantastic
5/5 stars
Our extended family of 10 (also a 2 month old and 2 year old) stayed at this location. It was fantastic for everyone. The kitchen was better stocked than my own kitchen! Beds were comfortable for everyone, and bathrooms were never an issue. Best part was the private hot tub. The community hot tub nearest us was out of order the entire time, but we were able to hang out after skiing in our private one. We had a few missing items and when I reported them, they were delivered that morning. We will definitely look in to renting here again... this is our 5th stay in Steamboat and our best booking!

Wonderful place.
5/5 stars
We are very much enjoying Steamboat Springs and the property we are staying at. It is spacious, clean, modern yet slightly western with lovely art and a well stocked kitchen for personal cooking. The A/V options are fine and there is even a Bang &Olufsen CD/radio down stairs. 5 bedrooms makes this a great family vacation. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing place!
5/5 stars
We found this place last minute after our reservations fell through elsewhere. We couldn’t be happier with this townhouse. It’s a fantastic location close to paths and great views. The kitchen is well stocked and there were even a few toys for the kiddos. The A/C and hot tub are great amenities. We hope to stay here again and again!

Great place to stay!
5/5 stars
Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Lots of space, kitchen very well stocked, games/videos and some toys for the children. We will definitely rent again next year. Close to Gondola Square. Jason was great too. Made sure everything was ok when we got here and checked up on us during our stay. Thanks Jason!

Great Property Located Close to Mountain
5/5 stars
This is a nice townhome for large families or groups with convenient location. Two separate living room spaces make it easy to separate adults and kids. The main level space is great with a large dining table and well appointed kitchen. Very nice master suite with large bathroom and walk in closet. Ample parking including 2 car garage with lots of room to store skis and poles is nice as well. The townhome has its own 3-4 person private hot tub on the back deck; there is a larger "community" hot tub across the street but be sure to plan in advance to make sure it is on and warmed up. The townhome is located less than 5 mins to the gondola via shuttle (which come frequently and easy to use), and is walkable if desired, which makes for easy access to Steamboat's world class ski mountain. Overall a great property. thanks!
- Kyle
Best Ever!
5/5 stars
Cascades at Eagle Ridge #1 condo was a true jewel of a home for our family coming from around the planet! We cooked at home almost every day, the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary pots and pans, and kitchen gadgets. The home was full of games and puzzles... just exactly what we wanted to do when not on the slopes! Jason was just great.. he couldn't have been more responsive to every request we had, even to get our girls a Christmas tree! This was a truly wonderful Christmas experience in a really wonderful home. We highly recommend Steamboat Springs, Jason and his team, and the great home!
- Chris
Great house for multiple families!
5/5 stars
We had a terrific time staying at this house. 3 families stayed together and there was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy and relax. The private hot tub is a great amenity as is the extra living room where the kids could go while the parents enjoyed adult talk upstairs. The home was so clean, well maintained and equipped. We had everything we needed, except time to stay longer! We will be back and are recommending to our friends. Thank you Jason for taking a great care of us and accommodating our special requests!

Home Away From Home
5/5 stars
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 months in this great condo. It is both spacious and comfortable, and beautifully decorated. When my wife and I were there alone, the main level provided a cozy living space for the two of us. We guests arrived (we had a lot of visitors), we had plenty of room for them on the upper and lower levels. The second living room downstairs provided a private retreat for our guests. The unit was recently updated with new furniture and flooring, and is stocked with everything you need to make your vacation spot a comfortable home. We enjoyed the deck (with a hot tub and grill), and the private 2-car garage where we were able to store all of our outdoor toys. The condo is right across the street from the Steamboat free bus stop that takes you anywhere you want to go around the ski resort and downtown. And it is a short 2 block walk along a lovely stream to the gondola ski area, with plenty of activities for adults and the kids. The condo owner and manger couldn’t have been nicer and more responsive to any request we had. We really enjoyed staying here and I’m sure you will too.
