About

The View & Vine Bungalow is a luxurious two bedroom, two bathroom home in the heart of Oregon's Wine Country in downtown Newberg. Completely remodeled with upscale finishes and fixtures, the bungalow is light-filled, cozy, and fresh while still retaining much of the 1920's Craftsman charm.

Enjoy a best-of-all worlds location: drive 10-20 mins to the region's best wineries, walk 2-3 blocks to downtown tasting rooms and restaurants, and return to the bungalow for a peaceful night's sleep.

An eclectic, upscale bohemian style influenced the design, with locally-found vintage items mixing with new designer pieces and comfortable, cozy furnishings. Two private master bedrooms with king beds and en-suite baths make it a great fit for two couples travelling together, a small family, or a luxurious girls trip in wine country.

Entry into the bungalow is from the back of the home; self check-in is provided via keypad. The driveway has space for two cars, and the open carport covers the entry and optionally provides coverage for outside dining and lounging. As you enter, you’ll walk up a few stairs into a cozy dining nook for four that overlooks Rotary Park and the Chehalem Cultural Center. Also near the entry are a full-size washer and dryer, with free & clear detergent, an iron and ironing board.

The kitchen has been beautifully and thoughtfully fitted with custom cabinetry, and high-end appliances, including a 5-burner gas range, french door refrigerator with filtered water and ice, dishwasher, toaster oven and microwave.

The living room is spacious and flooded with natural light from huge picture windows. The adjacent game room, which can also be used as a workspace or larger dining area, seats four in comfy velvet arm chairs at an antique french table.

There are two bedrooms, one downstairs and one up; both have king beds with amazingly comfortable medium-firm gel memory foam mattresses, high quality sheets, plush duvets and plenty of pillows of varying firmness. Nightstands, lamps and outlets are easily accessible at each side of the bed. Closets with no-slip hangers, drawer/cubby space and luggage racks in each make packing and unpacking a breeze.

Each bedroom has its own bathroom, with natural light, beautifully tiled showers, quartz-topped custom vanities, large mirrors and designer fixtures. Ultra-fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, cotton swabs and an upscale real-deal hair dryer are all there ready for you to enjoy.

Outside, the beautifully landscaped back garden has a Weber natural gas grill, dining area that seats four, and an herb garden you are welcome to make use of. Parking for two cars in the adjacent driveway is available. The Bungalow's back yard connects with the View + Vine Cottage next door, which is available for rent together or separately, creating the potential for 3 bedrooms and 3 baths between the two homes and a joined outdoor space to host your group.

You'll have full and private access to the Bungalow, which is a stand-alone home. You'll also have full access to the Bungalow's side of the back yard, which connects to but is divided from the Cottage's yard next door.

We have no doubt The Vine & View Cottage will be the perfect spot for you to enjoy everything Oregon's wine country and the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Beautiful Home Perfect Location
5/5 stars
This is our second stay at Vine and View. This home has wonderful high end updates throughout; the kitchen is fully equipped, bathrooms are lovely, and beds are very comfortable. The home was spotless and even had a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us upon check in. Additionally, the location is perfect; just steps from GFU and Newberg’s cute downtown area.

Wonderful House
5/5 stars
My husband and I met up with my sister and her husband to do some Willamette Valley wine tasting and we were lucky to find this charming cottage in Newberg! It is perfectly designed for 2 couples with two bedrooms and two full baths. The kitchen was appointed better than any place I have stayed, with plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, etc. The house itself is just adorable and very well constructed. The location is great too, right across the street from a playground and big community center and library. There is an awesome coffe shop/bookstore within 3 or 4 blocks and it’s two short blocks off a main thoroughfare. There is a covered carport that we really appreciated having in the heat! The small backyard area has a table and chairs and was a great place to enjoy our evening meals and to sit and read during the day. There’s a nice gas grill that worked well for steaks on our first evening. The management was so helpful and easy to work with! They were quick to answer the phone and assist with questions we had. I will definitely work with trip again and I hope to make it back to stay in this Newberg property!!!

BEYOND OR EXPECTATIONS!
5/5 stars
This cottage was PERFECT! Beautiful, well appointed, and, bar none, the CLEANEST rental I have ever visited. A lovely kitchen alcove for coffee, but also a dining table for our card playing. The living area was comfortable, stylish, and inviting. The cottage/bungalow was perfect for two couples—each had our own charming bathroom and amazing shower. Across the street and cultural center. All walking distance from the quaint downtown with dining, ice cream, pubs, post office, and boutiques shops. Highly recommend this one!

Great Property and Location
5/5 stars
We enjoyed our stay at the Vine & View Bungalow. The property is great for 2 or 4 people. Both bedrooms have king sized beds and great closet space to unpack. The entire property is nicely upgraded. The kitchen has modern appliances, and both bathrooms have full sized walk-in showers. The property is just a couple of blocks from several nice restaurants and centrally located in wine country. We'd definitely book again!

Best Weekend Ever!
5/5 stars
We spent the weekend in Newberg while visiting our son who attends George Fox. The house was perfect and gave us the opportunity to spend time at "home" instead of in a hotel or dorm. I loved the fact that there were two KING beds, while most houses only have one. The house was up to date, clean and had everything we needed to relax. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. My kids LOVED the beds - so comfortable. Although we never needed to reach out to the management, we knew they were there and available if needed. We will be back!

Our Favorite Place To Stay In Oregon
5/5 stars
I recently stayed in a spotlessly clean vacation home rental in Newberg, and it was a fantastic experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. The location was perfect, with restaurants within walking distance. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. The property manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and the cleanliness of the home was impeccable. I also want to mention that we always use I Trip when visiting our college student daughter, and once again, you exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making our stay in Newberg so enjoyable!

Great property, great location in the Willamette Valley wine country
5/5 stars
This is beautifully and completely renovated older property one block off of Newberg's main street. So it's an easy walk to many restaurants and a grocery store. It's also just 15 minutes from perhaps 100 of the best wineries in Willamette Valley. The house was very clean, well-equipped and very comfortably furnished. There is additional outside seating and a table with a barbeque pit. The beds were both king sized with comfortable "Temperpedic" type mattresses, so we had great nights' sleep also. We were there during the summer, and the upstairs and downstairs AC's both worked very well. The appliances were all high-end. Truly a great property. iTrip was very thorough in its communications, but not over-bearing. Both the check-in and check-out were absolutely uneventful. We would highly recommend using them in general, and booking this property specifically. Enjoy your stay!

Cleanest place we’ve ever stayed at!!
5/5 stars
What can I say? This place was absolutely awesome. Extremely clean and well appointed. It’s an old house that has been renovated to accommodate two couples. Plenty of room and privacy. Love the fact that each BR has a king bed and its own bathroom and on separate floors. Kitchen is well equipped if needed. Great location too. All in all, a great place and we would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay
5/5 stars
We loved stayed here! Exceptionally clean, cozy and comfortable. We were dropping off our daughter at George Fox University and the house sits just a couple blocks away. It was easy to go to campus and walk back to the house. Neighborhood is quiet and safe, located across from a playground so families are around. Everything is thought of in the home. Fresh towels, A/C or heat, a fully stocked kitchen, laundry on site, private carport. An entry code rather than a key made entering and exiting easy. Even the bathrooms have toiletries in cute bottles, and although it’s a bungalow, it felt like a hotel! We will be back!! Thank you for helping make the transition dropping off our college kid easier with a nice home to hang out and rest in.

Great little house to stay at while visiting my kids in the Portland/Sherwood area. Conveniently located and close to both downtown Portland, the coast and wine country. Very comfortable and clean accommodations with space to unwind. Hope to stay again on future visits to the Portland area.

My family was in town for my son's graduation and stayed at this property. Honestly, this home is everything we were hoping for and more! It is right across the street from a beautiful park. It's within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants and the main downtown area. The home was absolutely spotless and well appointed. The beds are extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet. The decor is so charming, and all the finishes are high end and seem brand new. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfection
5/5 stars
A friend and I stayed at Vine and View for a quick girls’ weekend. Our original plan was to stay in a hotel in Portland, but I am so glad we ended up here! The house is just absolutely gorgeous—a perfectly executed, high end renovation with everything you could possibly want or need in a vacation rental. It’s also super comfy—the beds are just heavenly it’s hard to get up! We walked to the Old Town pub in downtown Newberg for dinner and had a glass of wine at Tavern. We skipped wineries this time but no shortage of them within reasonable driving distance. We pre-scheduled a Lyft to take us to/from Jory at the Allison Inn for our 2nd dinner—what a treat! 5 stars all around.
