Owner lives in a separate apt/studio below the house with his friendly chocolate lab, Cooper. The entire 3 bedroom 3 bath home is privately yours during the length of your stay. The lower deck is shared but divided for your own space.

This 2,000 square feet peaceful home is tucked away in renowned Laurel Canyon where musicians Joni Mitchell, The Doors, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, the Eagles and many more who cultivated the sound of the 60's, lived and played all resided here. Please note that roads in this area are well-known to be very narrow and windy. ** This property is located at the very top of the Hollywood Hills to capture these jet-liner views. **

It is our mission to ensure that our valued guests enjoy their stay with us! This is a permitted vacation rental with the City of LA Home Sharing Dept. We also have an equally as important commitment to our neighbors and our community. Below are the house rules that we must enforce. Please read them as well as all your guests prior to confirming your reservation.

This is a short-term rental property only. No Tenants rights apply. You must check-out on the date your contract finishes.

* Minimum age to book is 25 years old. Valid photo ID will be required, as well as names and ages of all your Guests.

* Check-in is after 4 pm | Check out is at 11 am.

MAX NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS 8 - includes infants. Extra Guest Fee applies

The Property is to be occupied by no more than the maximum sleep number stated on reservation unless approved in writing by Management. If Guest exceeds the occupancy limit and falsifies occupancy information at the time of reservation, Guest shall be subject to eviction. "Occupants" includes small children, infants and any and all visitors. If more than the maximum number is found to be occupying the Property at any time, you agree that a charge of $100 per person/per day will be made to your credit card. Additionally, this Agreement may be immediately terminated without a refund of any amounts paid. No Exceptions.

Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by iTrip in writing prior to the arrival date.

NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS

Actions by guests that result in neighbor complaints or police being called to the Property will result in a minimum $250 charge, which charge will be used to deal with legal issues and fines.

CITY OF LA NOISE ORDINANCE - QUIET HOURS: 10 pm – 8 am. No Outdoor Music or Loud Voices during this time.

NO SMOKING Smoking is allowed outside only. If any trace of smoke is found inside the home, there will be a strictly enforced $500 fine and the cost to eliminate residual odors.

* You will provide the Full Names and Ages of all your guests

* In the event of an emergency to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, we reserve the right to enter the property.

* Well Behaved Family Pet will be considered. PET FEE $175 MUST BE PRE- PAID PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL. Pets are not allowed on the beds or any furniture. Pets are not to be left unattended in the home.

We recently stayed at Beech Knoll Lodge in Laurel Canyon. We loved the exquisite location and serene atmosphere. This peaceful retreat offers stunning views and easy access to Los Angeles attractions, making it a convenient base for our city adventures. The ease of calling Ubers further added to our overall satisfaction with the location. The property is well-equipped with modern technology, ensuring a comfortable stay, and cleanliness throughout the home was noteworthy. It waswrll- suited for our family, providing ample space and privacy for everyone. While the decor and furnishings are adequate and align with the property's vibe, they don't exude luxury. The lodge presents a unique charm with its eclectic mix of decor, signaling that many improvements have been made. However, it's clear that these remodels, while appreciated, were done on a budget. This DIY aesthetic, although endearing, might not align with the expectations of guests accustomed to high-end accommodations. Our main critique centers on the bedding, towels, and pillows. The quality here was disappointing—the pillows in the master bedroom were thin, firm, and dingy, and the other bedrooms featured basic three-inch-thick foam pillows from Target. Very low quality. Thus made sleeping difficult for us. At this price point, better quality bedding and pillows are an absolute must. In conclusion, Beech Knoll Lodge offers a tranquil escape with excellent access to LA's attractions. Its setting is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet, with the convenience of city access. While the lodge has many positives, such as its cleanliness and amenities, the bedding and evidence of budget-conscious remodels detract from the overall luxury experience. An investment in higher-quality bedding and a few upgrades could significantly enhance the guest experience.

This was a great place to stay, we were with family and everyone had lots of space. The view is incredible and did not fail to impress the whole time. Uber worked well for travelling up to the house. Some of the furniture is dated, but the beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were nicely appointed. The TV and entertainment system were terrific as well. The description on VRBO was spot on and check in was simple. Book with confidence.

Perfect for our family of 6! The view was everything week hoped and the fun narrow drive up the canyon to the house was always a fun adventure! Really quick drive to the walk of fame and universal studios. Master suit and bath was really nice but the other rooms were markedly lacking in comparison - but that didn’t matter much with kids in all the other rooms! Beautiful kitchen and fireplace. Loved our stay! Great space for playing board games and relaxing. 10/10 recommend for a family vacation! 100% need a car.

We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) enjoyed very much our stay of 9 days this July at the Beech Knoll Lodge. Located in the Hollywood Hills with a wonderful view of Los Angeles. You are not aware that you are in a big city – the tranquility during the day and night was really appreciated. Only a few minutes away from Sunset Strip and Studio City (via Laurel Canyon Blvd). The Lodge has a very special feeling, no complaints whatsoever. The reservation and all the communications with Lilly went smoothly and all our questions were promptly answered. Btw, all information about the Lodge is conveniently provided via iTrip-App. Also, greetings to the Owner, which we met briefly during check-in. We would stay any time again in the Lodge when visiting LA. Thank you!

Immaculate and delightful

The location in the Hollywood Hills is at once remote and proximal. It is close to so many activities that it is very convenient. The narrow winding roads provide a sense of adventure and isolation, while the structure itself provides shelter and grand vistas. There are many touches of beauty and elegance throughout the house. The host has provided many conveniences and niceties that helped us to relax and rest. We are a family of six adults and had plenty of room. The electronics were well configured for easy use. The kitchen was nicely appointed and provisioned. We delighted in watching the raptors and corvids soaring just off the balcony. We look forward to returning someday.

I stayed one week with my family in Beech Knoll Lodge. The house was superb, in particular the view to LA. But all details were also excellent. A nice fireplace, nice furnitures, last technologies for TV and ligthing via Alexa. I strongly recommand.

Amazing house in Laurel Canyon - perfect staycation

This is an awesome house in scenic Laurel Canyon. The balconies look out over the city and you get a really great view of Downtown (among other places). Great living room with cabin vibes, fireplace, surround sound, good sized rooms and the view from the master bedroom is sweet. This alone was a highlight just sitting and enjoying sunrise/sunset. Kitchen was equipped for our needs and even during COVID, everything was clean and we felt safe. It was easy to get things delivered as well, as this is close to a bunch of cool stuff on the sunset strip and weho. The property manager/host was amazing to work with. She accommodated a number of special requests I had to set up a lovely weekend. Could not have been easier. From check in to check out it was a breeze. The owner lives in the unit below - we didn’t hear a peep from him and had no issues playing music upstairs. I’ll note just a small point - The bathrooms are slightly dated and somewhat inconsistent with the decor theme, and the steps in the master bath may not be perfect for someone with mobility issues. Non issue for us. There’s only one designated parking spot, but all guests found easy street parking. This is such a cool area of LA to explore. Would gladly stay again! Perfect staycation and did not want to leave!

As we do have 2 walk in showers in the home plus that soak in jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. We're taking steps now to do some upgrades to make the steps to the jacuzzi tub is more safer.
