Welcome to the Manatee House, a gorgeous 3 bedroom home, within walking distance to shops and cuisine of Downtown Jensen Beach and only one mile to the Jensen Beach Bridge to Hutchinson Island and its many beaches. If you stay during one of the many local festivals or markets, you won’t have to worry about parking, because you can walk.

Fully remodeled throughout, in a relaxed, comfortable beach style, with a private fenced backyard, patio with picnic table, grille and separate fire-pit area with Adirondack seating. Great for a family BBQ.

PET POLICY: We welcome 1 pet under 25 lbs. Please disclose type and size of pets PRIOR to booking. Upon approval a pet fee will be added.

Located in Jensen Beach of Martin County, on the Treasure Coast, where shorelines boast miles of gorgeous beaches and natural sand dunes. Jensen Beach, a favorite nesting place for loggerhead sea turtles, is officially called Jensen Sea Turtle Beach. The beach is on the edge of the world famous Hutchinson Island & the Atlantic Ocean.

Visit nearby Jensen Beach Causeway Park, boasting many picnic pavilions, public boat launch facilities, playground, restrooms, fishing piers, beaches on the Indian River, great for kayaking, windsurfing and jet skiing. Great public place to fish and watch the most stunning sunsets!

We have installed a new AC system as of August 2024!!

We provide a starter set of supplies, with an initial travel size supply of shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, coffee, towels and toilet paper. Should this not be enough for your entire stay, you may need to purchase additional supplies. You are welcome to use the washing machine & dryer at any time throughout your stay.

 RULES AND REGULATIONS
  1. Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25).
  2. Balance is due 30 days in advance.
  3. Cancellation fee is $100. Full refund more than 30 days out.  50% refund more than 14 days out.
  4. No grills or open flames except outside on ground level.
  5. Pets are not allowed on premises unless approved prior to booking (fees apply).
  6. Parties and events are Prohibited. The maximum number of occupants shall not exceed 6 people.
  7. Please respect our neighbors and reduce noise after sunset
  8. Smoking is not allowed in the unit or on the property..
  9. Please leave all windows closed and locked. 
  10. Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition, neat and tidy, as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected.
  11. All dishes are to be washed and all garbage removed from the premises and placed in outside receptacles. Please place trash bins in front of house for pickup on scheduled pick up days.
  12. Close all blinds in all rooms upon checkout.
  13. Furnishings are not to be moved or removed from the premises for use outside or in other properties.
  14. Tenant and any guest of Tenant shall obey all laws of the state of Florida, as well as local laws, at all times while they are on the premises. Failure to abide by the laws of Florida or the above rules may cause tenant to be asked to vacate the premises and forfeit all rents and security/damage deposits
  15. Please do not wash white linens or towels with any colored items.
  16. Security Cameras and Noise Aware monitors are there to protect you and the property, please do not move or unplug them. (There are no cameras inside and the noise monitors measure loudness but do not record or capture sound) 
  17. Use the pool at your own risk.  Children must have adult supervision at all times. (For properties that have a pool)

We spent almost 3 wonderful weeks at the Manatee House in Jensen Beach, Florida. The property was first class....everything we could have needed was there. The appliances were all new high end LG products....I wish I had all of these in my own home in Massachusetts! The beds were very comfortable - great nights' sleep. It took me a minute to figure out how to use the TVs...it's much easier for younger, more technologically adept people to use the devices, but although we are 76 and 81, we were able to get everything and more than what we needed! Karin and Travis checked in with us after just a couple of days to be sure we were comfortable and that there were no problems. I really appreciated their attention and interest in insuring that we had a great time. We also had fantastic weather for all the time we were there, which was a plus. Jensen Beach has some great night life also - Jammin Jensen is every Thursday evening and has lots of restaurants, vendors, live music....all in all a really good time. From Manatee House to Downtown Jensen is only about a 10 minute walk. Super convenient location!! You can't miss with the Manatee House....as I said before it was all really special! We would love to go back next winter.

This is an excellent rental property. Close to everywhere we wanted to visit. Excellent dining nearby. House was very clean, appliances are all new and in excellent condition. Master shower is a long run from the hot water heater so it takes a while to heat up, but it's a small inconvenience. Travis and Karin were wonderful, handled any of our questions quickly! We've gone ahead and booked another property already for next year, that's the confidence we have with them.

My wife and I stayed here at the Manatee house with my mother and father in law. It was a very nice, relaxing atmosphere. It had a nice lay out and we found it very comfortable. Everything in the home is in excellent condition. I highly recommend it!
