Nestled on a large corner lot with an abundance of vegetation and landscaping, enjoy the view of gently swaying trees and flora as you wind down the day. When taking a break from the fun on the coast, watch your favorite shows on the 36-inch plasma TV with DVD and Dish Network. Several family-friendly movies are available for your enjoyment.
Enjoy your morning coffee outside either on the private deck just off the master bedroom or the large landscaped yard with table and chairs.
Rest and relax in the master bedroom with its elegant queen-sized bed. This spacious suite offers an oversized sliding door which opens to the patio. The charming historic Old Town section of the city is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants. A quick drive to many local attractions such as the Oregon Dunes and beaches, The famous Sea Lion caves, The historic Heceta Lighthouse, nearby Woahink and Siltcoos Lakes for fishing, boating, kayaking or swimming. You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean. Some trails wind up, over, and through sand dunes, offering hikers the opportunity to experience the unique natural wonders of this area. Paddle the slow moving 3 mile designated canoe trail between Siltcoos Lake and the Pacific Ocean.Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are offered daily. Get your adrenalin flowing on a nearby dune buggy tour or with an ATV rental, or go crabbing from the Siuslaw Bay public fishing pier at the end of South Jetty road where crabbing is excellent from late spring until the fresh water from winter rains force the crabs out to the ocean.
