Beautiful lakefront home on Collard lake located on the north end of Florence Oregon near Mercer lake. As soon as you enter this beautiful home You'll notice the large great room with 12' ceilings and large windows that overlook Collard lake. The living room features a large TV, comfortable seating, and a cozy fireplace. Just off the living room is a well stocked kitchen and a grand master suite. The two additional bedrooms are situated on the opposite side of the house for a little separation and privacy. Step out of the glass back door and onto the beautiful upper deck with a gas grill, patio seating and amazing views. For a little extra family bonding time or game night you will absolutely love the huge game room located on the lower level and only accessible from an exterior door. The game room features an air hockey table, foosball table, poker table, comfortable seating and coming soon a media area. There are plenty of board games and puzzles for endless family memories. Off the rear of the game room walk out onto the lower deck with more great views and a walkway down to the lake. For a little extra relaxation try out the hot tub located in the converted garage. The entire family will love this Oregon Coast home.

Collard Lake:

Collard lake is a small lake for fishing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. No motorized vessels permitted.

Nearby Mercer Lake:

Boat Launch - There are two public boat launches, First is about 1 mile further east on Mercer Lake rd., watch for signs on your left. Second and slightly easier option is about 1 mile West on Mercer Lake rd to Bayberry rd turn right then an immediate right onto Archer Ln. Launch is at the end of the road, narrow road so best to back down Archer to water.

Mercer is a good sized lake listed at 341acres on the north side of Florence. Great largemouth bass fishing, yellow perch, bullhead catfish, seasonally stocked rainbow trout and some sunfish as well..

With a boat, you can poke around the long Dowell and Dahlin arms and many small coves and points around the lake. There are standing and fallen trees around the shoreline, as well as a fair number of docks, that add to the potential cover for bass and panfish.

What’s nearby

This home is a quick drive from multiple access points to the Oregon Dunes and ocean beaches including the popular access just out South Jetty Road. The charming Old Town section of the city 
is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants. You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean. Some trails wind up, over, and through sand dunes, offering hikers the opportunity to experience the unique natural wonders of this area. Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are offered daily. Get your adrenalin flowing on a nearby dune buggy tour or with an ATV rental, or go crabbing from the Siuslaw Bay public fishing pier at the end of South Jetty road where crabbing is excellent from late spring until the fresh water from winter rains force the crabs out to the ocean.

Parking for 3 cars ( no garage ) with room for smaller boat or ATV trailer. No Motorhomes or camping trailers permitted.

Wonderful house for family

We took our 3 grandkids (with parents) to the beach, and this house was the perfect fit. Spacious, extremely well stocked (probably the best we've seen), a humongous game room, & kayaks! The lake is smallish & perfect for kids to kayak. Also short drive to the beach. Two things to be aware of: the game room is accessed by a short outdoor stair, and there are 90 steps down to the dock. Sturdy stairway, but could be a problem for some... I've seen bad reviews for itrip, so was a little nervous. But booking and payment was seamless, and when we had a question about trash pick up they were easy to get ahold of & were very friendly. We'll be happy to use them again.

Wonderful vacation home with all of the amenities!

If fun and comfort is what you are looking for, this house has it all! The main home area is big, inviting and comfortable, with all of the necessary amenities. The indoor hot tub is a cool feature and the game room is beyond exciting! The kayaks and dock area also provide for lots of fun and endless entertainment. The lake is serene and beautiful! This home is a wonderful place to stay for a trip to the lake!

Fantastic Four Days on the Lake

We had a fantastic four days on the lake. The house has a ton of room, and if it had more bedrooms could easily accommodate more than the 8 guests. The living area is open and bright with a few skylights and several huge windows facing the lake that allow great light inside and provide a beautiful view of the lake. They two decks provide excellent space in the shade or the sun to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. There are lots and lots of steps down to the water, so it isn’t necessarily a place for those who struggle with lots of steps, but once you reach the lake it is amazing! It is protecting from most winds as it is basically in a bowl surrounded by trees. The fact that motorized boats are not allowed allows you to enjoy kayaking (3 kayaks included), swimming, and floating without having to deal with boats. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are a little firm, but comfortable. They have a good selection of games and a huge game room that includes ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. It also has a nice indoor hot tub. All of which we didn’t use much as were too busy enjoying the lake and the decks. Overall there isn’t much negative we would say. Everything is in good to excellent condition. It is a really nice house with a fantastic lake to enjoy and everything we needed to get away and relax!! We will definitely be back!!

What a wonderful place! The house is beautiful, very comfortable beds! The access to the lake is incredible, we kayaked for hours. The televisions, all equipped with Roku were a nice touch, as well as wifi. The gameroom is incredible, as well as access to the Dunes. A very memorable trip. Thank you!

The Collard Lake House was very nice and relaxing. It had everything we needed. I was surprised to have so many utensils and appliances in the kitchen that came in handy to cook with. The fireplace was a nice touch. The best part of the house was to sit and drink coffee in the chairs by the large windows overlooking the lake through the trees. The rooms were perfect, the whole house was very cozy and clean. We saw the photos of the game room earlier on when booking, but totally forgot about it upon arrival. It really was a nice addition for something to do considering we stayed in January when it was cold and wet outside. Loved the Dune movie poster in the game room! The Internet service was fast. The cell service was fine. It was a little off the trail getting to the house, but it was so awesome to have a super bright light at the entrance so there was no confusion on which house it was. Driveway is kind of steep so I don't recommend any more than 2 cars. We had two cars and it was fine. I'd love to come back to this house in the summer to check out the lake and explore the outdoors. We didn't get much of an outdoor experience other than walking down to the dock briefly to take a quick glance.

Our first time ever renting a house and we were so glad we choose this one. It has everything you need to enjoy your weekend, we spend a great time at the lake and the game room! Very spacious, cozy and amazing views. We definitely choose this property for our future getaways.
