The mix of historic charm, modern updates and the BEST location in the city of Birmingham. This 1930’s bungalow got its historic name after the end of WWII. In the late forties, the street was littered with reusable diapers from newly wed military families.

Within walking distance of Birmingham’s Vulcan Hiking Trail, which offers some of the most unforgettable views of the city. End the day with a relaxing soak in the hot tub while catching up on the day!

We loved this house -- it was completely as advertised and we loved the various sitting areas so that we could visit anytime. When we discovered the water was not on in any bathroom or kitchen, Karthic took care of it within 45 minutes. For the six of us the wi-fi was surprisingly fast. And the charm of this old home was an added bonus. One of the beds was not very comfortable.

The interior of this home is beautiful. Plenty of rooms. Just know that each bedroom shares a bathroom. You can lock the door so you don't have to share a bathroom unless you are family. The back patio is wonderful and we spent many a nights out on it playing cards and talking. The only negative I had on this property was I wish that it had better curb appeal. Management should have blown the walkway and front entrance off. Lots of pollen and overgrown plants. We would have used the jacuzzi but it had spider webs around it. Again, a leaf blower would have gone a long way.

House is perfect for us 8 gal. Safe area close to everything. Plenty of parking and awesome that they didn’t require much for cleaning to leave. However we did remove trash and do dishes. But most places make you pay for cleaning and have a full sheet of cleaning they require you to do. Great communication with owner also.

This was the perfect place to stay for our family spring break trip. Close to restaurants, entertainment, museums. This house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the house for our son's wedding in Birmingham. With everything taking place between Homewood and Vestavia CC, the home was perfectly located to quickly get to events during the weekend. The home had everything we needed to be comfortable and was very clean & neat. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a centrally located, well kept weekend rental.

We visited Birmingham for Samford Graduation this past weekend. Staying at this home created great flexibility for us with the shared space for our family of 6. We enjoyed hot showers and comfortable beds and good space for gathering. Our request for additional bedding was well received and provided for. We would be more than happy to stay again. Thank you.
