Great Location
4/5 stars
Great location, nice and quiet. Perfect space for two guests. Unfortunately, the bed was not the most comfortable. Luckily their’s a pullout coach that we used as an alternative. Check in and check out was seamless. The staff was very helpful.

Good pick
5/5 stars
The unit was clean and ready to use when I arrived, everything worked fine in terms of the heat, hot water, kitchen appliances etc. Underground parking was easy as was a convenient loading/unloading place close to the condo. The spa facility was wonderful - water temp in the hot tub was perfect and it was easy to access. The staff were friendly and cooperative when I locked my garage access in my car on the first night. The bedroom was adequately sized and had a nice chest of drawers for ski stuff. Best of all it was easy to walk my dogs with very convenient access to doggie toilet areas, and a fairly out of the way sidewalk/path where I could walk them without encountering a lot of people. All in all it was a good choice and I will probably try to rent it again when I return to Whistler.

Noisy suite
2/5 stars
Hi! I was not happy with the suite as I it was extremely noisy above us and none of us slept well both nights. Also, with having to take out garbage, dishwasher fill up etc. was tough with a check-out time of 10am and after paying a high fee for cleaning didn't make sense. There was a bunch of cleaning supplies near the front door. It was also hard to find as the unit was in behind unit 41 and 41A - better instructions would have been helpful. The hot tub was very small and full when we got there so we couldn't really enjoy it.

leaves things to be desired
2/5 stars
The location of the place is amazing. However, that is where it ended for us. I was working during the day and having fun in the evenings but the place is next to an active work zone where they were jackhammering out on the street during the work week which was super disruptive on every zoom call. The unit has a single window in it (in addition to a slider in the bedroom) but there is no screen on the one window. So on the hot evenings, the bugs came right in. And then it was missing basics like a place to hang a hand towel in the bathroom. It took 2 days to get hand soap and toilet paper which should have been there at check-in.... Anyway, it was fine for what it was, but I wouldn't go back and I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

The location was great, it was quiet. The bed was okay, sheets did not fit well, I did report main blind strings were broken to raise up the blinds. I was surprised no kleenex or or paper towels.

Nice Condo
3/5 stars
This condo is nice and located in a great location. A short walk to the Marketplace or shuttle to catch the bus to the bottom of the mountain. Before booking, I would confirm that the fireplace has been fixed. It is the only source of heat for the living space and it sounds like a rocket ship when starting up. It is also quite loud after it has been running for a while. I complained to the owner and they responded with extra blankets for the individiual that was sleeping on the pull out.

Great place to stay & close to the village.
5/5 stars
The condo was great & clean. It was just a bit small.

Uncomfy Bed and Dog Hair
3/5 stars
I wasn’t pleased with either of the two beds as they were both old. There was also dog hair all around the property getting on my clothes.

We had a great stay
5/5 stars
We had a great stay at Glacier Reach #40 . The location was perfect, less than a 5 minute walk to the Marketplace (grocery, restaurants etc.) and the local trails. The suite was very comfortable, clean with pretty much everything you might need for your stay. We also appreciate that it was pet friendly! The real highlight for us though was the service. We had car trouble on our check out day and had to stay in Whistler for the whole day while the car was getting fixed. We called Bob directly to ask if the suite was available for another night and not only did he say yes, he gave us a deep discount for the additional night because of our special circumstances. Thanks again Bob, we will definitely book this suite if we are in Whistler again!

Great location!!!
5/5 stars
We were extremely pleased with our stay a mini vacation for me while my husband was working testing Whistler roads Nice clean cheerful unit with lots of supplies even though I brought my own It’s nice that if you forgot something this unit had it -like shampoo, Kleenex , toilet paper and coffee Free underground parking, hot tub and pool all nice perks Weather was not too bad for September Everyone was more then helpful from checking in to extending our stay more then once and checkout as well ! We had a coffee pot issue and within a few hours a brand new one arrived!! Nice to have laundry in the unit and kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few of our meals! Great to be so close to grocery store/LBCO and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Even with Covid 19 we felt that everywhere we went we didn’t have to worry. Wonderful trails to hike on lots to see everyday!! I’m sure this would be a great spot during the ski season! Big Thankyou to Bob, Shawn, John and Catlin for a well done job Cheers to you all !!

Adequate and clean
3/5 stars
This condo is tucked away in the building complex. It almost felt like a basement suite. Only other complaint is the gas fireplace which heats the unit. It sounds like a prop plane taking off for the first ten minutes. It is very loud. The unit was clean enough and stocked appropriately. We could hear upstair noise but generally quiet at night.

Great location, great condo
5/5 stars
My wife and I stayed at 40 Glaciers Reach for two weeks in Feb/March. The location is great - close to the grocery store and restaurants and an easy walk into the heart of the Village - but far enough away from the bars that it was quiet. The new Blackcomb Gondola and the Whistler Gondolas were a short, free bus ride away - took 2 minutes to walk to the stop from the condo. We only used the bus when wearing our ski boots - heart of the village was a ten or 15 minute walk in shoes. The condo was quite nicely renovated, with a comfortable bed and well-appointed kitchen. There is a nice covered patio with table and 4 chairs - too cold outside for us to use during our stay, but would be a useful amenity in warmer weather. Overall - great location if you want a quiet stay AND to be able to walk easily to the village. Nicely remodeled. Comfortable queen bed. Sized well for two adults, or two adults with small kids.

Cozy & Tucked Away
5/5 stars
At first, the unit is hard to find as you have to go through a narrow spot to find it. But, it was quiet and cool during the hot days. Thankfully, it had an A/C unit in the bedroom which helped a lot. A few light bulbs were out which made it quite dark in the kitchen but I let them know at checkout, so hopefully that will get fixed for the next visitor. Overall, a very clean and quiet unit.
- Tana

Thank you so much Tana for the kind review! We got the light bulbs all sorted - thank you for letting us know

Whistler ski vacation
4/5 stars
Unit 40 was great. Just what was required. Relaxing, cozy. The only thing that bothered me was the initial fan noise the fireplace made every time it turned on. Could not even stop it as this was the condo's main heat source. Aside for that everything was great.
- Philippe

Thanks Phillippe!! Happy you had a good time - thanks for letting us know about the fireplace.. we'll get that looked at

Great stay and ski in whistler

Our unit ( # 40 ) at glacier reach was everything we expected -- we did have a couple of questions regarding the condo ; the response was quick . With 5 feet of snow over the 7 days , the skiing was outstanding . Would certainly stay again at glacier reach .

Good place, decent service
4/5 stars
Our small group has been skiing together at resorts in the western USA and Canada for decades. Glacier Reach #40 is a typical small condo rental. The description is accurate. As a rental there were a few small issues - the kind one comes to expect: The smoke detector was chirping on low battery mode, a few light bulbs were out, one of the closet doors was off it's track. The staff took care of what we notified them about in reasonable time. The cable service did not appear to work - no obvious box to go with the remote and only 1 channel on the TV. We never reported that, but used the WIFI to stream video to the TV. The dishes are adequate, but limited. The cookware includes 3 regular sized teflon frying pans, but nothing bigger. Bring your own knives. The hot tub is in the central courtyard and is fine, but does not have airjets. Nice gas fireplace.
- Thomas

Thank you for your open and honest candid review! We will definitely get those issues looked at and addressed. Reviews like this help us improve and create a better rental experience for the next guest!
