Ski Time Square is one of the best spots for a Steamboat vacation rental! It’s perfect for a couple, small family or even two couples. It all starts with the tremendous location, where you are steps away (800 yds) from the main base area (gondola, lifts, roller coaster, restaurants, pubs, shopping & more) and the free bus stop that takes you to town (3 miles) and more. If you like to Apres, you cannot stay much closer to two of the hottest Steamboat spots, Slopeside and T-Bar.

For summer, this same area turns into a promenade-style beach scene with Burgess Creek flowing through the base area. Sit back, relax on the red chairs, dip your feet into the creek while your kids play in the sand. There are other summer family activities including a climbing wall, mini-golf, mountain coaster and events for all ages such as free concerts and art exhibits that make this a fantastic year-round locale.

The unit itself has been beautifully and recently remodeled (Summer 2024) including a BRAND NEW kitchen, bathroom and more! It’s all on one level and features a private balcony with a beautiful mountain view, comfortable seating on the balcony and in the unit. Sit back and relax by the gas fireplace and/or the large flat screen TV.

The spectacular NEW kitchen is right off the living area and features brand new stainless steel appliances, gorgeous quartz countertops and has everything needed to stay in and make a meal.

The bedroom is down the hall features a comfy queen bed.

The NEW full bathroom offers a stunning walk in glass shower and is between the bedroom and living area.

The newly remodeled indoor hot tub, sauna and exercise room are 10 steps away.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Steamboat Base Camp
5/5 stars
This condo is a perfect location for adventure sports in the region. I visited for the SBT GRVL bike race and this location was close to downtown so i could access the great food and drink, but was in the ski village and close to the mountains. I went up the gondola, which was great for seeing views of the whole valley. The condo itself had a full kitchen to prepare food as needed and large living area for relaxing. The views from the balcony were also great for overlooking the Ski Village. I could see this condo as a perfect spot for travelers coming to ski, mountain/gravel bike, hike, and explore Steamboat.

Great Stay
5/5 stars
The view was spectacular! The building is older and could use a face lift, and our bathroom was straight out of the 70's but none of that mattered. We enjoyed our stay, it was comfortable and the communication with our host was wonderful. We will stay with them again!

The property is well landscaped. The condo itself is dated. Beautiful views. Closeness of stay to base area are all nice.

SKI SQUARE INN
1/5 stars
This cozy unit with all the kitchen items there is located on the 4th floor of the Inn. We loved the condo inside. Loveseat is very beat up, but still comfy. The unfortunate news is after driving to get there we find that we did not have a location to unload our luggage, except in the covered garage. There is a spot to unload on the opposite end of this Inn, but not any closer to the elevator and not convenient. The garage is great, but there is a flight of stairs to get out of the garage, no elevator plus major ice hazard at threshold leaving the garage entrance. Next the bags, groceries, skis, etc have to be carried 75-100 yards to the front door of the Inn. Next there's a lobby to a more narrow set of stairs to the elevator. The ski lockers are in this lobby, but one does have to walk back towards the garage to get to the ski slope, so easier to leave our equipment in the truck. Unfortunately the elevator was having major work done on it the last two days we were there. Up 4 flights stairs to get to unit. Hot tubs were very foamy, sauna out of order since the end of the year, elliptical did not work. Won't stay in Steamboat at this unit again due to these extrinsic factors. This location is not for the weak, faint of heart or disabled. When mentioned to My iTrip as the emails suggest, they said they didn't know any of this and would contact HOA.

First time to Steamboat
5/5 stars
We had a great trip! The condo was a great value and comfortable. The pullout bed mattress cover had crumbs, the love seat was really worn and you sank when you’re sat in it, the patio chairs were nice but also worn and the sliding door was janky. Otherwise, everything worked and felt safe! Being from the Midwest didn’t consider a/c not being available when making my choice. It was a hot week, but did cool down most nights. Lots of great eateries, shopping and adventures. I would recommend this to other travelers.

Great Condo
5/5 stars
Would totally rent this unit again. Pros: Super comfy condo and great location. Parking was easy and close. Can't go wrong with Steamboat. Nice gas fireplace that turns on instantly. Lots of plugs to charge phones, etc. Unloading was pretty easy. Park right by the main entrance with no hassle to unload, and short walk to elevator up to the condo unit. Morning walk to the slopes is easy, even with a 10 year old. I think I counted about 150 steps and then stopped counting in my head as we were nearly there. You cross a street and then you can ski down to the Christie lift or the Gondola. Our 10 year old said "I really love this condo" one night when getting tucked into bed. Cons: The key lockbox was a little tricky. The face folds forward instead of the curved ring of the lock unclipping like regular locks. There is no washer/dryer in the unit itself. It would be helpful if there were two keyfobs and two locker keys as there was only one. There are ski lockers right at the entrance that are super convenient. There is a spa but we didn't check it out due to covid concerns.

Wonderful, relaxing trip to Steamboat Springs
5/5 stars
Steamboat Springs is a great summertime vacation spot for all. We rented bikes and ride along the Yampa River, stopped at the botanical garden, went tubing, hiking, shopping, and explored the local art and historical museums. One of our favorites was riding the roller-coaster and scenic chairlift on the “Mountain”. Our condo at Ski-time Square was clean, comfortable, and charming. My family- all 9 of us, will definitely come again, perhaps for skiing, next time!

This is a solid place. It’s got a great location with the slopes and bus stop. It’s also on the same floor as the hot tub which is great!

Fee Fo Review
3/5 stars
We had a couple of issues with the condo. No ski locker key . The fireplace wasn't working. They gave us a bottle of wine for this but we don't drink red wine so it was waste and kinda sad. The bed is super hard and the windows are see though even with the blinds down. The condo kitchen is stock with pot and pans. Plenty of blankets and willows, Good locations I wouldn't call it ski in but across the street.
