About

Walk in the footsteps of Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio at the exclusive Tides Beach Club! In 1935, Charles Redington bought this Gulf of Mexico frontage and built The Tides Hotel and Bath, which quickly became a mecca for visiting celebrities. A new club was built in the 90’s and the grand lobby pays homage to the club’s illustrious history with a nostalgic display of old photos and newspaper clippings. With a private beach (accessible only to resort guests), three Gulf-front swimming pools and hot tubs, private poolside cabanas, two fitness centers, a billiard room, three barbeque grill areas and high-level security, the Tides Beach Club is still a sought-after and exclusive vacation property.

NOTE: There is an application required for rental of this property that must be submitted 7 days in advance and approved in order to reside at this property. Minimum 30-night stay.

Awesome
5/5 stars
The Tides unit 244 has become our vacation spot and again did not disappoint. We absolutely love this area and condo unit 244 which has everything you need and all the comforts of home, very spacious three bedroom well appointed décor with washer/dryer in unit (very convenient) with some extras like; extra beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys in case you are vacationing with little ones. The unobstructed views from the balcony are breathtaking from every direction. Besides the amazing sunsets, there are usually daily views of dolphins and wildlife. The refreshing pool and grounds are very well kept. We have become twice a year visitors to this condo. In all of our years of vacationing, this unit has become our favorite all the way around. The laid-back atmosphere, the uncrowded beach and close distance to restaurants, shopping. The owner is very accommodating to quickly address any issues that may arise, although there was only one issue, the television in the parlor had gone on the fritz and one call, a new 55" television was delivered and installed that day! The management team at the Tides, Kim and Tati are always pleasant and professional as well as all the staff and crew. And last but not least, Abby Campbell of ITrip for her professionalism and help in securing this condo for us each time. Thank You Paula, Peggy and Bella

This was our second year of spending 3 Months (September, October and November) at The Tides unit 244. As in the past, we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. A few problems this year, the washing machine broke and we had to send out our laundry. The microwave was not working and the one they replaced it with would remind you of a college dorm type and the toaster was on its way out. As home owners ourselves we realize appliances break down on occasion. The management was quick to address our concerns but unfortunately it became a problem of not being able to get the parts needed. Although this was inconvenient, it does not deter us from renting again. It is a lovely condo unit, very spacious and suits our needs very well. See you in September.

Good and not quite there!
3/5 stars
Great complex, great location. Unfortunately my in laws were arriving before us and tides had lost the paperwork so over an hour later they were eventually let in. The apartment was very functional but when we arrived a few days later I was upset to hear that my father in law had spent a lot of time replacing bulbs and minor issues. Not what I wanted on their 50th wedding anniversary for a 76 year old! If there’s a management company looking after these things then change them as they aren’t doing their job! There was only one fan working on the balcony and the 2 lights were gone. He managed to fix one but the other was beyond repair. The tv in the lounge distorted the sound whenever you turned it up but the channel selection was good. Overall it didn’t spoil the time there and we had a lovely time. The only other comments would be that the pool area was very quiet however everything is banned from the pool . No balls, no floats etc etc etc . I defiantly wouldn’t bring teenagers there as there is no social interaction for them.

The process of getting into the complex & receiving pass cards, parking permits on weekends is impossible, since it's security personnel on premise maybe here or not. Never can find or never answer there phone. The building code given us for the time period did not work, had to find a resident who gave us a code so we could get in. Once in condo. turned ice maker on & water ran all over & out of the refrig. Notified Itrip. Suppose to be fixed today. Furnace would not heat, personnel called & repairs had to be done on it, wired wrong. Fire alarm battery had to be changed by me, churping.Condo needs a lot of TLC, beds need to be upgraded to at least one king bed, furniture has seen its days, not comfortable at all. Both patio screens are torn. Carpeting in bedrooms need to be cleaned or replaced. Clothes dryer is very slow drying, requires two cycles to dry a small load. Had to unclog master bathroom sink, so it would drain. Thankyou for contacting us regarding our stay, I hope this will help

Great apartment complex
5/5 stars
We stayed in the apartment for a month. Reservation and instructions for move-in were super quick and easy. Any came up questions were resolved within a day or two. The apartment itself is very cozy, well-furnished and has every necessity. We really enjoyed a great view of the ocean from the balcony. The pool and the gym areas are very neat and useful. Great beach right outside of the complex with white sand and clear water. Overal, the place is worth its price! We are definitely coming back next time!
