Loggerhead surf is a newly renovated cozy beach cottage, new to the rental market and has the right stuff to make your holiday at the beach enjoyable. Privacy of a single-family home, very close to the beach, and pet friendly. The property update has been a total remodel that includes new furnishings, kitchen appliances, bedding, bathroom fixtures, flooring, lighting, pretty much everything including new paint inside and out. Loggerhead Surf is very close to the beach access, just 1.5 blocks away, you can see the ocean from the property. The house is equipped with beach chairs and a wagon to make the trip to the ocean even easier!

***This is a DOG FRIENDLY HOME: A non-refundable Pet fee of $250 will be added to your rental if you choose to bring your dog. And for 2 Dogs the Pet Fee is $350 *Contact us about dog rules at the beach*

Dog Rules: Carolina and Kure Beach allows dogs in the summer April 1 - September 30 before 9am and after 5pm. Dogs must be on a leash. Dogs are not allowed between the hours of 9am and 5pm in the summer. Dogs are allowed all day in the off season from October 1st to March 31st. Dogs are allowed on the beach all day year round at Freeman Park and Fort Fisher.

**Maximum Occupancy: 8 Occupants - Children must be counted within the maximum occupancy unless they are under the age of two (2) and are sleeping in a crib.

**Tenant Requirements: Tenant stated on the Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age, and acknowledge that they will occupy the Property during the entire tenancy.***

* Manager and owner of the rental property are not responsible for citations received while staying at the property.

* Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood.

* No events or parties- If determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund given.

* If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions!

* No uninvited guests without permission

iTrip NC Beaches Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 60 days or more before your stay will receive a refund less the cancellation fee of $350. Cancellation 60 days or less before your stay will not receive a refund unless the same dates are re-booked. If that occurs you will receive a refund less the cancellation fee of $350. Additional details with regards to cancellation policies and procedures may be found in Section #15 of the Rental Agreement as provided at checkout.

Maximum Occupancy: Each property’s maximum occupancy is stated within the Agreement and located in the Property Description; If at any given time, the maximum occupancy is exceeded, the tenant will be in material breach of the lease and grounds for expedited eviction will apply in addition to a fine.
No Student Groups, Weddings, or Parties
No more than 4x Minors per adult

Pets are not allowed in properties that are not Pet Friendly

Had a great stay at Loggerhead Surf while in KB. House was very clean and kept in good shape. Had an issue when we first arrived of a broken wagon and missing remote and someone was there replacing the issues immediately. Great communication and customer service. Only comment I would make is to have an actual set up to wash off the sand. We used the hose in the driveway to rinse off and it became muddy and we attracted a lot of mosquitos. All in all a great visit.

Had a great time in Kure Beach this week! House was remodeled, and very clean. Towels and linens were included, which made a big difference. Beach was a 5 minute walk, which made it easy to go back and forth. The TV's were also great, and worked great in the bedrooms. Also loved the FULL size washer and dryer. Some minor suggestions for the owners that would make it even better. Provide a garbage disposal....they are only $100. The couch facing the TV was dirty. We cleaned it a bit, and went and bought a sheet to put on the couch. I would also pull the weeds by the steps going into the house. If you are not going to trim the bushes out front, I would tear them out and re-do the landscaping. Also, no dishrags were supplied, so you will need to bring some with you.

We had a wonderful experience during our long weekend at Loggerhead Surf house. Nice and quiet neighborhood and very close to the beach. The house was clean and well stocked. Communication was quick, efficient, and most helpful. The only complaint we had-I could not find a fly swatter. Otherwise, a perfect stay!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a short walk to the beach and at times we had the beach to ourselves. The area was very quite and peaceful, low traffic so it was a great area to walk the dog. Our first night the washer went out. The host tried to get it fixed as quickly as they could and even offered to pay our laundry bill if we chose to go to the island laundry mat. We survived until the washer was fixed. There was 4 adults and 2 children (4 and 2) and we had plenty of room to move around and lounge. My only complaint about the property would be the fenced in back yard. The area was not maintained (weeds, dirty table and chairs) so we did not spend anytime out there. Even with the my disappointment in the backyard, I will still give this property a 5 star rating because overall everything else was great!

We had a mini vacay at Loggerhead Surf, Kure Beach. This was our first time using VRBO, going to a place we knew very little about and taking our 3 yr old Doodle. We have nothing but 5+ stars to say about working with itrip. The communication was great, very timely and useful. Loggerhead Surf was a sweet little cottage style house. Everything was very clean and we had plenty of room to spread out. The location was great and we found some excellent restaurants in the area. We’ll definitely be using itrip to plan other getaways!

This was the first trip with our cousins and we both had dogs. The house was clean and didn’t have any odor. The dogs enjoyed the beach early morning and evening. The neighborhood was quiet and nice place to walk the dogs. It was a quick walk to the beach. There was a wagon and beach chairs available. The washing machine was nice to keep our towels washed up. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, utensils needed to make a few meals. There was a tv in all the bedrooms and living room. The aquarium was very close for an afternoon trip. The ferry ride to Southport to walk/shop around and eat at The Provision Company was a laid back adventure out. Carolina boardwalk was close by to go see the fireworks and live music on Thursday nights. The pier at Kure beach was free to walk out on. There were swings and benches to relax in next to the pier.

This was a great rental, close to the beach in quiet walking neighborhood. The beach is calm and away from the CB hustle and bustle. Being between CB and Ft Fisher gives you a leg up on a relaxing time with family and not being overwhelmed. The backyard is fenced that is great for dogs, but be aware there is no grass in the backyard, it is pebbles only. The only thing missing is an outdoor shower. :)

This house is perfect, 3 BR and 2 BA. Short walk to beach. About a 10 min walk to a dog park. The house is upgraded in appliances and fixtures. Short drive to grocery stores and restaurants with some of the latter even walking distance. We will be back.

Our rental at Loggerhead was perfect for us! It had everything we needed during our stay. This was a great beach house. It was extremely clean, came with all the amenities and was only a 2 min walk to the beach, which was very convenient with two small children. I plan on coming back next year and using this same house! Also, check in was very easy and the property owners were very helpful and always got back to us if we had any questions. Great experience!

I was impressed with Loggerhead Surf before our stay and am happy to say that our recent stay at Kure beach was just perfect! Pictures can be deceiving but this updated home lived up to its pictures It was CLEAN and every little detail was thought about. We had everything we needed for day trips to the beach and evenings of cooking and games. The new kitchen and fixtures, blinds and ceiling fans make this beach home a must stay. The location to beach assess and Pleasure Island shops and stores was a plus. The backyard was great for our dog and we loved walking him around this sweet neighborhood. A+

This place was just what was promised. In the past, I've shown up to places we've rented to find them dirty or not what the pictures look like. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the weather. Nicely renovated home with a great kitchen for our foodie family members. The beach is just a few steps down the street and there were not a lot of people about. It was very nice sitting out in the fenced back yard listening to the ocean and the birds.

We loved the cottage!! It was the perfect size for our family of four and our dog. We could easily walk to the beach, and take our dog on walks in the neighborhood. The fenced in back yard was convenient as well. We definitely plan to visit again!! Allyson

This house was renovated beautifully and felt new and very clean. We appreciated all the extra touches like beach wagon, umbrella, boogie boards, and the mattresses had memory foam toppers. The towels were in great condition. The roku had many channels and there was a tv in every room. We enjoyed the quiet part of Kure beach and easy beach access. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Loggerhead. For our family of four (and dog), it was the perfect size. Nicely remodeled and very inviting. The proximity to the beach access was wonderful. Given the pandemic situation, we chose to do carryout dinners and stayed in every night playing family games. We made many wonderful memories this week.

We had a nice family vacation during COVID in Kure Beach. Loggerhead Surf was very clean and has a great location. Easy walking to the beach! Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well. Fenced in backyard is helpful. The rental company was VERY responsive with any questions. They even came and swapped out our propane tank for us! Would definitely recommend the property and working with this rental company. Only advice is to make sure to bring bug spray and storage in bedrooms is limited. Also didn’t quite have all of the dishes we needed to eat in (which we did each night due to COVID). Otherwise it was a great stay!

The house at 309 F Avenue at Kure Beach was very quaint and comfy. Completely remodeled, open floor plan, nice bedding and linens and great for dogs with a little fenced in yard in the back. My only recommendation would be to replace your beach chairs as they really weren’t usable for the beach, and the outdoor shower wasn’t working. Luckily we had our own beach chairs, and we had no issues. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend for a getaway at a cozy cottage near a nice family friendly beach.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Loggerhead Surf. It was very clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the needed appliances and dishware. There were plenty of towels, linens, starter kitchen and bathroom supplies and a nice fenced in patio area. Thanks so much for the thoughtful amenities for an enjoyable stay. The rental company was great to work with and we'll definitely put this cottage on our list for future beach trips.

I usually only write reviews when I have something to complain about, but I really enjoyed my stay at Loggerhead Surf. The house is really nice and has clearly been very recently renovated. I felt like I was in a house in a magazine and I was the first person to use it. My party didn’t need all the beds but every room was perfect with its own TV. My dog loved the dog park, beach, and state parks which are all less than 5 minutes away and the fenced in yard was great for him. I was happily surprised that for so cheap I could see the ocean from the dining room, and the beach access is right across the street. The beach is also practically private and well away from the tourist areas further down the beach. I definitely won’t be returning to Carolina Beach or Wrightsville beach after staying at Kure which has more to do but less people you have to share it with. Oh, and the house isn’t far down the island like where I used to stay in Emerald Isle, so once I’m on the island I’m actually near the rental! I’ve always hated beach houses where I have to drive forever just for some food. And the customer service was great I had a number I could text with any issues I had. I still don’t know how to pronounce Kure but this rental will be a vacation destination for my family for years to come.

I loved this rental so much! location. layout and just the great condition of this rental. It was not the original rental we purchased but due to mechanical issues we were relocated here at Loggerhead on checkin nite. Hibby is handicapped and this one floor home was perfect! Wow, what a blessing it was. Even though our vacation started off Rocky, it ended great at Loggerhead. Definitely will try to rent this one again!!
